DEVICE FOR DAMPING VIBRATIONS OF A FLEXIBLE OR MINERAL-INSULATED CABLE INTEGRATED INTO A RECESS, CABLE THUS EQUIPPED AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
Disclosed is a device for damping vibrations suffered by a mineral-insulated cable or a flexible cable, intended for being integrated into a recess having a larger cross-section than the cross-section of the cable, the device including: —at least two tips having a tubular cross-section, suitable for being attached to the surface of the cable, —at least one contact element constituting a flexible element with resilient behavior, preferably made of metal, extending from the tips and connecting same together, the flexible element being configured so that, when the device is assembled on the surface of the mineral-insulated or flexible cable and the cable is integrated into the recess, the flexible element is bearing on at least one bearing point of the inner wall of the recess, thus damping the vibrations suffered by the cable.
DISPENSING PUMP WITH LOCKING STRUCTURES AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A dispensing pump includes a spring assembly and a locking arrangement to prevent the dispensing head from being deployed and/or actuated during shipment, stocking and pre-purchase handling. The dispensing pump includes a pump base, and a dispensing head having a piston stem. The spring assembly includes a slotted tubular spring element and first and second loading cones received at opposing ends of the slotted tubular spring element. Various locking arrangements may include interacting rotatable lugs provided between the dispensing head and the pump base, snap beads to retain the piston and dispensing head in a secured shipping position, and recyclable locking rings disposed between the dispensing head and pump base which prevent an active dispensing head from being actuated.
AXIALLY RIGID CURVED BEAM WITH SQUEEZE DAMPER
A gas turbine engine component includes an inner support structure surrounding an engine center axis and fixed to an engine static structure, an outer support structure spaced radially outward of the inner support structure, and a curved beam comprised of a plurality of curved beam spring segments that are positioned adjacent to each other to form a ring. The inner and outer support structures are coupled together around the curved beam to enclose the curved beam therebetween and form an assembly. A bearing is spaced radially inward of the assembly.
Torsional transmission element with elastic response
A torsional spring that can be used as a joint adapted to transmit at torsion actuation with elastic response. The torsional spring relates to a compact torsional elastic element, provided with a linear torque characteristic which is also not affected by the direction of rotation. The torsional spring is capable of attaining a high transmissible torque relative to its weight and overall dimension.
Modular shock absorber structure
A modular shock absorber developed for use in places where shock absorption is required. The modular shock absorber includes; horizontal carriers, a main carrier I and a main carrier II, a central carrier I, a central carrier II, an upper plate I, a lower plate I, a lower plate II, an upper plate II, an upper plate III, a lower plate III, a lower plate IV and an upper plate IV.
ISOLATOR AND SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY FOR RIDING EQUIPMENT
A riding outdoor power equipment vehicle, such as for grounds maintenance, having a chassis including a support area, an operator platform for supporting a rider and supported by the chassis, and a suspension assembly. The suspension assembly is configured to resist movement of the operator platform towards the support area of the chassis and includes a biasing element having a plurality of annular portions. At least two annular portions of the plurality of annular portions are spaced apart from one another when the biasing element is in a default orientation and are moved into engagement with one another upon compression of the biasing element between the operator platform and the support area. Compression of the biasing element provides an initial deflection response that decreases substantially in response to increasing loading being applied to the operator platform.
Drive element with an overload coupler for an electrical connector with a drive and also an electrical connector with such a drive element
A drive element for an electrical connector comprises a gear wheel and an overload coupler. The overload coupler is between the gear wheel and a hub.
Expansion valve
An expansion valve includes a valve main body having a valve chamber therein, a valve body arranged within the valve chamber, a valve body support member supporting the valve body, an urging member urging the valve body toward a valve seat, an actuating bar pressing the valve body in an opening direction of the valve against urging force generated by the urging member, and a vibration proof spring suppressing vibration of the valve body or the actuating bar. The actuating bar has an outer peripheral surface of which a part constitutes a contact surface slidably contacting with the vibration proof spring, and the contact surface has a shape by which the amount of deformation of the vibration proof spring becomes greater as the valve body goes towards a closing direction of the valve.
WAVE SPRING
A wave spring includes an annular body in which crests and valleys are alternately and continuously formed in a circumferential direction. At least a portion of the annular body in the circumferential direction is a joined portion. The joined portion of the annular body is a flat portion extending in a plane orthogonal to a center axis of the annular body.
Multilayer wind spring for a display support and lifting support thereof
A multilayer wind spring for a display support and a lifting support thereof, the multilayer wind spring is formed by winding a plurality of tightly attached elastic metal sheets, wherein each of the elastic metal sheets comprises a stretching connection portion, a movable sheet portion and an unmovable wound portion, part or all of the elastic metal sheets are provided with a semi-restricted structure which is provided to have a movement allowance in an unwinding or winding direction of the elastic metal sheets, and in an unwinding or winding process of the multilayer wind spring, the stretching connection portion of the elastic metal sheets provided with the semi-restricted structure is arranged to be slidable within a range of the movement allowance relative to a connected component.
