An apparatus for fixing a vehicle roof bar including: a long roof bar which is disposed horizontally at an interval from a vehicle roof; two buffer members which are in close contact with both window frames of the vehicle, respectively, each have an L-shaped cross section and are each made of an elastic material; two hooks which are fixed to the window frames of the vehicle, respectively, with the buffer members interposed therebetween; two brackets through which both ends of the roof bar protrude by penetrating the two brackets; two stands which are supported on the vehicle roof; and two half-moon-shaped head bolts which each have a half-moon-shaped heads having a half-moon-shaped cross section and fitted into the groove of each of the stands.

Mirror device having leaf spring with openings

A mirror device includes a frame, a mirror body arranged in the frame and rotatable around a rotation, support beams connected between the mirror body and the frame and a leaf spring providing torsional stiffness with respect to a rotation of the mirror body around the rotational axis. The leaf spring has a maximum thickness that is smaller than a minimum width thereof, where the leaf spring has openings that reduce the thickness thereof or the penetrate the leaf spring in the thickness direction.

A constant force spring system to achieve a substantially constant force curve, includes top and bottom load surfaces separated by a load compression distance therebetween; a main spring; at least one auxiliary linear spring acting on a last portion of the load compression distance to prevent load compression; a spreading linkage acting between the top load surface and the bottom load surface to prevent load compression thereof; and link hinges connecting the links, wherein the spreading linkage.

MOTOR WITH SPRING-MOUNTED MOVABLE MOTOR PART AND PERSONAL CARE DEVICE COMPRISING SUCH A MOTOR

A motor and a personal-care device having the motor. The motor has a motor carrier made at least partially from a sheet metal material, a movable motor part, and a spring element that couples the movable motor part with the motor carrier. The sheet metal material comprises at least one coupling area where the sheet metal material is folded so that its two layers are facing each other while each of the two layers comprises a slot, the slots being aligned with one another. A connection extension of the spring element extends through the aligned slots.

Disc brake device and disc brake for railway

In a disc brake apparatus, a parallelism maintaining control mechanism for pressing lining surfaces of pads against a disc rotor in parallel includes a pressure plate which is brought into abutment with a pad holding member, a link arm having a fixing shaft projecting from a caliper body in parallel to a side surface of a disc rotor, a moving shaft disposed in parallel to the fixing shaft and pivotally supporting the pressure plate, joint members which connect the fixing shaft and the moving shaft in parallel to each other and a connecting shaft for pivotally connecting the joint members to each other, and a spring member for pressing the pressure plate against the pad holding member.

A vent, preferably made of metal, comprises a body (10) having an aperture (24) for the passage of a fluid and a sealing surface (11) surrounding the aperture. A porous membrane (50) lies against the sealing surface (11) and covers the aperture (24). A clamp arrangement may comprise a spring (30) pressing the membrane against the sealing surface (11) to prevent liquid from passing through between the sealing surface (11) and the membrane (50), e.g. by means of a cap (40) secured to the body (10) of the vent. The clamp arrangement is such that upon a reduction of the membrane thickness by 50% in the clamping area the compressive force per unit area does not change by more than 50%.
