Multi-configurable furniture system
A modular table comprising a main table body having a center portion, a mid-section which is disposed vertically underneath the main table body wherein the mid-section is adapted to provide vertical support to the main table body. An alternative embodiment of the table has a center portion of the main table body which is telescopically expandable allowing the mid-section to become vertically disposed. This telescopic expansion can be achieved using jack screws or rotatable mid-section. The table trunk is capable of housing a plurality of stools or chairs. The stools or chairs can be coupled together and, when placed end to end, provide a further base for the main table body due to a notch which is formed and which fits an extension which protrudes downwardly from the main table body. The main table body can also have a reversible table top which can be designed to be a gaming board or a bar top.
Gaming apparatus and method for playing a game
Provided is gaming apparatus (10) useable to playing a dice game generally a dealer and at least one player. The apparatus (10) typically comprises a gaming surface (12) which is configured to define a plurality of betting zones, as shown, and a recording device for recording an outcome of the dice rolled for display. In one embodiment, the betting zones comprise at least one higher roll zone (14), at least one double roll zone (18), and at least one equal roll zone (16). Said zones are generally shaped and dimensioned for operatively receiving a betting token from at least one player. Such a betting token is generally indicative of a value of a wager placed on an outcome of dice rolled sequentially by a player and the dealer after the betting tokens have been placed in the desired zones. The outcome of the at least one player and dealer sequentially rolling the dice is then determined according to predefined ratios calculated on a statistical likelihood of occurrence.
Digital detection of physical dice rolls via conductive dice tray
There is provided a system and method for determining an identity of a game piece. The system including a detection grid, a memory for storing a detection algorithm, and a processor configured to detect an electrical change on the detective grid caused by a contact face from the game piece, determine the identity of the game piece based on the electrical change using the detection algorithm, and transmit the identity of the game piece wirelessly. The game piece may include a die with a plurality of resistors, where each of the plurality of faces includes a resistor with a different resistance value. The identity of the die corresponds to the rolled face of the die. Wherein detecting the rolled face of the die includes detecting the resistance value on the contact face of the die and determining the rolled face based on the detected resistance value.

DICE SCANNING DEVICE
A gaming device comprises an imager configured for detecting objects within a playing area, such as for example dice or cards. The imager is also configured for detecting calibration signals in a calibration zone outside the playing area. The gaming also comprises a calibration element configured for providing a substantially transparent region for environmental light to reach the imager in the calibration zone and for further providing one or more calibration markers in the calibration zone. The gaming device thereby is configured for performing calibration using the one or more calibration markers of the calibration element.
DICE VALUE RECOGNITION AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A dice value recognition and communication system for determining dice rolls and communicating them to remote players includes at least one playing die, a position sensing system to determine rolled values of the playing die, and a player computing device. The player computing device receives rolled value data from the position sensing system and communicates it to other player computing devices via a network. The position sensing system may include sensors mounted in the playing dice and sensors in a rolling tray on which the playing dice are to be rolled.
