A dice rolling device (1) includes a housing (12) formed in a bottomed tubular shape that opens upward, and a plurality of pins {first and second pins (22, 24)} provided in the bottom portion of the housing (12). Further, the dice rolling device (1) includes a flat plate portion (8) with a plurality of through holes (9) through which the pins are inserted, and includes a dice stage (4) accommodated in the housing (12) movably in the vertical direction. The dice rolling device (1) further includes a spring member (31) that biases the dice stage (4) upward, a dome-shaped cover (2) that covers the flat plate portion (8) from above, and a die accommodated in a space (S1) surrounded by the cover (2) and the dice stage (4). The moving range of the dice stage (4) is the range between the lower limit position in which the pins (22, 24) extend through the through holes (9) and protrude above the flat plate portion (8) and the upper limit position in which the pins are accommodated in the through holes (9). Hence, this invention can provide the dice rolling device (1) having high contingency of appearing dots of a die.

An electronic dice shaker device includes a housing defining an interior cavity, the housing including a transparent window between the interior cavity and an exterior of the housing. The electronic dice shaker device further includes a sensor that detects, in response to an electronic die coming to rest in the interior cavity, a visible face of the electronic die. The electronic dice shaker device further includes a first communication interface that, in response to detection of the visible face of the electronic die, provides an indication of the visible face of the electronic die to a gaming device.

OBJECT PREDICTING APPARATUS

A rollable object outcome reader comprises a rolling surface that supports on a first side one or more rollable objects each including a plurality of surfaces that each include a respective face indicator and an image capture device configured to capture an image of a second side opposite the first side. The outcome reader includes a control system that receives the captured image and determines an orientation of a rollable object on the first side of the rolling surface based on the captured image by determining a first face indicator of a first surface of the rollable object resting on and directly facing the first side of the rolling surface and determining a second face indicator of a second surface of the rollable object opposite the first surface based on the determined first face indicator of the first surface based on a predetermined relationship for the rollable object.

A dice rolling apparatus comprising a base, a controller, a sensor, a motor comprising a rotor, a dice enclosure comprising a member, a connecting structure. The member is attached to an inner surface of the shell of the dice enclosure and is positioned in a direction substantially parallel to an axis of rotation of the rotor. The connecting structure connects the rotor to the dice enclosure where the connecting structure extends from the rotor along the axis of rotation of the rotor. The sensor detects a motion proximate from the sensor and sends a triggering signal to the controller, and the controller sends a controlling signal to the motor when receiving the triggering signal from the sensor. The rotor and the dice enclosure rotates when the motor receives the controlling signal, and the dice placed inside the dice enclosure roll by making contact with the member.
