Metrology target indentification, design and verification
Metrology tools are provided, which comprise both active and passive vibration isolation devices, passive or active isolation systems such as constrained layer dampers, particle impact dampers or liquid impact dampers, and/or noise cancellation transducers, combined in different supporting structures of the metrology tool to dampen and reduce vibrations at a wide range of frequencies and intensities, and to which frequency range spectral analysis and optimization may be applied to determine specific tool configurations according to the provided principles.
Damping material
There is provided a vibration damping material capable of exhibiting excellent vibration damping performance and of reducing its own weight while having high rigidity. The vibration damping material of the present invention used so as to be installed on a panel 300 of a vehicle includes a viscoelastic layer 200 and a constraining layer 100 provided on one surface of the viscoelastic layer 200, wherein a relationship between a strain a and a strain b is 0<a/b<1, the strain a being a strain on a surface 100a of the constraining layer 100 on the opposite side to the viscoelastic layer, and the strain b being a strain on a surface 100b of the constraining layer 100 on a side in contact with the viscoelastic layer.
Bottom dampener for can rack systems
A bottom dampener can be provided for a can rack system. The bottom dampener can dampen forces exerted on a bottom of the can rack system by cans inserted into the can rack system. The bottom dampener can include a curved pad, which can fit into a bottom flap of the can rack system. The curved pad can be used for dampening a force exerted by a can on the bottom flap. The bottom dampener can also include one or more tabs. Each of the tabs can fit into a hole along the bottom flap to removably couple the bottom dampener to the can rack system.
