Cover member
A cover member is to cover a cylinder and includes a plurality of peaks, a plurality of valleys, and coupling portions, which couple the plurality of peaks to the plurality of valleys. The cover member is expandable and contractable in an alignment direction in which the plurality of peaks and the plurality of valleys are aligned. Each peak of the plurality of peaks includes a depression depressed from an apex of the peak in a direction toward the cylinder, and each valley of the plurality of valleys includes a protrusion protruding from a bottom of the valley in a direction opposite to the cylinder.

AIR SPRING HAVING A PLEATED BELLOWS
A pneumatic spring for a running gear of a motor vehicle, including a pneumatic spring cover and a pneumatic spring piston, wherein a pneumatic spring bellows composed of elastomer material is braced in air-tight fashion between the pneumatic spring cover and the pneumatic spring piston, wherein the pneumatic spring bellows is at least partially surrounded by a sleeve-like outer guide, wherein a corrugated bellows surrounds the pneumatic spring bellows and the outer guide, and wherein, between the outer guide and the corrugated bellows, there is provided a separately formed, air-permeable fastener by which the corrugated bellows is fixed to the outer guide.

Cylinder device and cover member
A cylinder device includes a cylinder that has one end from which a piston rod extends, a pipe-shaped cover member that has an extendable bellows portion and a small-diameter portion whose inner diameter is smaller than an inner diameter of the bellows portion, the cover member being configured to protect the piston rod, and a capping member fitted into the cylinder, the capping member having a convex portion to which the small-diameter portion of the cover member is locked, at an outer periphery, wherein at the small-diameter portion of the cover member, a bulge portion that bulges outside in a radial direction is formed.

DAMPER GUARD
A damper guard coupled to an external surface of an engine block includes a back cover defining an opening. The damper guard also includes a front cover adapted to couple to the back cover such that an enclosed space is defined between the front and back covers. The damper guard further includes a pressure balancing line coupled at a first portion of the back cover. The pressure balancing line is adapted to vent the enclosed space to an engine crankcase for maintaining the enclosed space at an engine crankcase pressure. The damper guard includes a drain line adapted to allow drainage of a damper oil present in the enclosed space.
Planar linkage, methods of decoupling, mitigating shock and resonance, and controlling agricultural spray booms mounted on ground vehicles
The current invention discloses several methodologies that mitigate shock loading and propensity to resonance in agricultural spray boom structures. These include a near planar linkage for decoupling the boom assembly from the vehicle. This serves to permit further aspects of the invention to: Use the combined mass of the booms and center section as the tuned mass of a tuned mass damper: Act as an enabling part of a boom compliant suspension system to mitigate shock loadings otherwise imposed on the boom system, and: Act as an enabling part of an active boom height and roll control systems to permit the accurate navigation of the boom over undulating terrain. Further aspects include the incorporation of tuned mass dampers in the boom structure and components; and the use of the mass and operation of the boom outboard breakaway sections as tuned mass dampers.
