A damper apparatus includes an adjusting bolt including a head part rotatably stored in an adjusting bolt storage part formed in a base part, and a male thread part including a tip end formed in a male thread shape. An adjusting member includes: a female thread part, which is a part in a female thread shape fastened to the male thread part of the adjusting bolt and movably provided along an axis line of the adjusting bolt; a tapered surface part with which the tip end of a push rod comes into contact and formed in a tapered shape with respect to the axis line of the adjusting bolt; and wall parts rising from both ends of the tapered surface part with reference to the circumferential direction of the adjusting bolt, and interposing the push rod therebetween.

Systems for damping a solar photovoltaic array tracker

Solar tracker systems include a torque tube, a solar panel attached to the torque tube, and a damper assembly. The damper assembly includes a housing defining first and second chambers, a first fluid passageway extending between the first and second chambers, and a second fluid passageway extending from the second chamber. A piston is moveable relative to the housing and a valve is positioned within the first chamber and moveable to passively control fluid flow. An active lock includes a shaft extending into the second chamber with a seal attached to the shaft. The shaft is selectively moveable between an unsealed position in which the seal is spaced from a chamber wall and a flow path is defined between the first fluid passageway and the second fluid passageway, and a sealed position in which the seal contacts and seals against the chamber wall to obstruct the flow path.

Shock absorber

Provided is a shock absorber that is so designed that fail-down is prevented, which is caused when solenoid thrust is relatively small. The shock absorber comprises a chamber disposed on one side of a valve element and communicating with a cylinder's one side chamber and a cylinder's other side chamber, a first communication passage allowing the chamber and the cylinder's one side chamber to communicate with each other, and a second communication passage allowing the chamber and the cylinder's other side chamber to communicate with each other. The first communication passage includes a first orifice, and the second communication passage includes a second orifice.

ADJUSTABLE VIBRATION DAMPER

An adjustable vibration damper has at least one adjustable damping valve, a piston at a piston rod that divides a cylinder into a work chamber on the piston rod side and a work chamber on the side remote of the piston rod. A hydraulic device is connected via a first line to the at least one adjustable damping valve connected to one of the work chambers and via a second line at least indirectly to the other working chamber.

ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED SWAY BAR DAMPING LINK

Disclosed herein is a sway bar system comprising a damping link that couples a first end of a sway bar to a first location on a vehicle. The damping link is comprised of a body comprising a damping chamber and a reservoir. There is also a through shaft coupled to a piston, where the piston divides the chamber into a first chamber and a second chamber. A high-pressure line is fluidly coupled with the chamber and the reservoir and allows fluid to flow from the first chamber and the second chamber to the reservoir. A low-pressure line is fluidly coupled with the chamber and the reservoir and allows fluid to flow from the reservoir to the first chamber and the second chamber. The high-pressure line and the low-pressure line assist in self-centering the sway bar.
