Cylinder with switchable system and shock absorber having the same
A shock absorber includes a cylinder that includes a cylinder body defining a disposing space, a piston movably disposed in the disposing space and dividing the disposing space into a liquid space and an air space, and an electronic control device disposed in the air space and dividing the air space into a first chamber space and a second chamber space. The electronic control device has an electromagnetic unit and a rod unit that includes a blocking member, and that is controllable by the electromagnetic unit to convert between a blocking state and an unblocking state, in which the blocking member respectively prevents and permits fluid communication between the first chamber space and the second chamber space.
Damper device for bicycles
A damper device for a bicycle having a housing extending in the axial direction and disposed therein, a chamber which forms a chamber volume that is sealed outwardly. The chamber volume extends in the axial direction from a first end to a second end. In the axial direction, at least one adjustment member is rotatably disposed between the ends of the chamber volume. The adjustment member is configured as an annular member and is rotatably received at the housing and surrounds at least part of the housing. By way of movement of the adjustment member, at least one operational setting of the damper device is changeable by means of a mechanical transmitting device.

Vibration damper, motor vehicle and method for mounting a vibration damper
A vibration damper for a motor vehicle includes a valve block and at least one tube assembly. The tube assembly has at least one inner tube and one outer tube which are arranged coaxially. The valve block is arranged in a fluid-tight manner at one axial end of the tube assembly. At least the outer tube is connected in an integrally joined manner to the valve block, and a ring nut is provided at least on the outer tube. The ring nut transmits a prestressing force, in particular a pressing force, to the at least one inner tube such that the at least one inner tube is connected in a non-positive manner to the valve block.

SPRING DAMPER APPARATUS FOR A VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND VEHICLE HAVING AT LEAST ONE SUCH SPRING DAMPER APPARATUS
A spring damper apparatus for a vehicle, with a hydropneumatic system, via which a wheel of the vehicle can be braced spring-mounted and damped on a body of the vehicle. The hydropneumatic system includes a first chamber delimited at least partially by a partition element, in which a fluid acting on the partition element is accommodated. In addition, the hydropneumatic system includes a second chamber separated from the first chamber by the partition element and delimited by the partition element, in which a gas forming a gas spring and acting on the partition element is accommodated. In addition, the hydropneumatic system includes a housing in which the fluid is accommodated. In addition, the hydropneumatic system includes a piston shiftably accommodated in the housing and acting on the fluid, via which piston the wheel can be braced on the body.
Bidirectional self-locking damper
The present application discloses a bidirectional self-locking damper that comprises a cylinder and a piston assembly housed in the cylinder and displaceable along the axial direction of the cylinder. The piston assembly includes a piston rod, a piston and a bidirectional self-locking valve. The bidirectional self-locking valve includes a valve body and a locking assembly. The valve body is provided with a passage chamber, and a first passage channel and a second passage channel that are communicated with the passage chamber, the first passage channel communicating with a recovery pressure chamber, the second passage channel communicating with a compression pressure chamber; the locking assembly is directed to displace in the passage chamber driven by the work medium for establishing/interrupting the communication between the first or second passage channel and the passage chamber.
Gas spring and gas damper assemblies as well as suspension systems and methods including the same
Gas spring and gas damper assemblies include a flexible spring member. First and second end members are secured to opposing ends of the flexible spring member to form a spring chamber. The second end member includes an end member wall that at least partially defines a damping chamber within the second end member. A damper piston assembly includes a damper piston and an elongated damper rod. The damper piston separates the piston chamber into first and second chamber portions. A pneumatically-actuated control device is disposed in fluid communication with one of the first and second chamber portions. The control device is selectively operable to alter the functionality of the gas spring and gas damper assembly between spring and damper functionality and actuator functionality. Suspension systems including one or more of such gas spring and gas damper assemblies as well as methods of operation are also included.
COMPRESSION PISTON
