Apparatus and method for dispensing vehicle balancing weights
An apparatus and a method for dispensing vehicle balancing weights are disclosed. The dispenser comprises a transport unit arranged below a cartridge for storing balancing weights. The transport unit moves a balancing weight from a selected section of the cartridge on a belt conveyor for further transporting the balancing weight to a handling device. The transport unit comprises a feeder, and a plurality of stack lifters for lifting a stack of balancing weights and allowing the feeder to push a selected balancing weight under the stack of other balancing weights towards the belt conveyor.
Balancing Weights with Multi Layer Adhesive Tape
Balancing weights for cars have an adhesive tape with at least a first tape layer and a second tape layer, for attaching the balancing weights to a rim. The first tape layer is held in close proximity to a rim by a first adhesive layer. The second tape layer is held in close proximity to the balancing weights by a second adhesive layer. The first tape layer is stiffer and less flexible than the second tape layer, the second tape layer is softer and more flexible than the first tape layer. This allows easy removal of the balancing weights from the rim by pushing a wedge shaped tool between the first tape layer and the rim.
Balance weight for vehicle wheel
An improved adhesive-type weight system for use with vehicle wheels includes one weight or a series of weights arranged as a tape. Each weight is formed of a flexible thin iron plate material having a perimeter with opposing longitudinal ends and opposing lateral sides. The series of weights can be oriented end-to-end or side-to-side, and each weight includes two planar sections separated by a center raised section. The center section can be a peak, an arch, a step, or some other raised configuration. Additionally, it can be tapered from one side to another. On the underside of each weight is adhesive and a release paper, which can be continuous across a series of weights or separated and applied under each individual weight. Where weights are attached to adjacent weights in series, preferably a notch or cut extends along the connection to encourage easy separation.
WHEEL BALANCE WEIGHT COMPOSITION AND A MOLDED PRODUCT THEREOF
A wheel balance weight composition includes an elastomer in an amount of 100 parts by weight, metal oxide in an amount equal to or greater than 1 part by weight and equal to or smaller than 10.5 parts by weight, fatty acid in an amount equal to or greater than 0.5 parts by weight and equal to or smaller than 5.5 parts by weight, and stainless steel (SUS) powder in an amount equal to or greater than 380 parts by weight and equal to or smaller than 1,480 parts by weight.
BALANCING WEIGHT FOR WHEELS
There is a balancing assembly for wheels having a support member extending in a direction having a first longitudinal axis and a height extending along a first radial axis. The support member has a first surface configured to be attached to a surface area of a rim of a wheel, a second surface, an intermediate portion extending in a direction parallel to the radial axis extending from the first surface to the second surface, and a first locking member. The assembly further has a load member body extending in a direction having a second longitudinal axis. The load member has a primary surface, a first connecting member positioned on a first side of the second longitudinal axis, and a second connecting member positioned on a second side of the second longitudinal axis. The first connecting member and the second connecting member are configured to engage with an intermediate portion of the support member securing the load member in a radial direction. The load member has a second locking member configured to engage with the first locking member to secure the load member relative to the support member in a longitudinal direction.
BALANCING WEIGHT COMPOSITION WITH EXCELLENT CHEMICAL RESISTANCE AND BALANCING WEIGHT INCLUDING SAME
A balancing weight composition with excellent chemical resistance and a balancing weight including the same, in which polar rubber, an activator, and metal particles are contained in predetermined amounts. The balancing weight using the balancing weight composition has excellent chemical resistance by including polar rubber, is capable of preventing environmental pollution due to heavy metals and suppressing rust generation, has excellent adhesion to the curved surface of a wheel and high extrudability and bending resistance, and is capable of inhibiting interfacial peeling and lifting phenomena.
