A piston cylinder device (1) comprising a cylinder (2) with a first and a second end and a guide (6), such that a pressure chamber (8) is formed in the cylinder. A piston (12) is moveable in the pressure chamber (8). The guide (6) is fixedly secured to the cylinder (2) by a lock ring (7). A sealing means (9) is arranged to seal between the guide (6) and an inner wall of a tubular wall (3) of the cylinder (2) to prevent fluid leakage from the pressure chamber (8) to the surroundings. The piston cylinder device (1) is provided with a material weakening zone (13) arranged in the inner wall of the tubular wall (3) of the cylinder (2) axially between the lock ring (7) and the second end (20) of the cylinder (2), the material weakening zone (13) being arranged to be deformed or sheared against the lock ring (7) at a predetermined level of impact of the piston (12) against the guide (6). A leakage gap (14) is arranged to interrupt the sealing means (9) upon deformation or shearing of the material weakening zone (13) such that gas from the pressure chamber (8) is allowed to leave the pressure chamber (8) through said leakage gap (14) to the surroundings.

MULTI-STAGE SUPPRESSOR FOR VIBRATING PILE DRIVER

A shock absorbing apparatus (suppressor) for a vibratory pile driver includes three suppressor sections, including a first section adapted and arranged to absorb a load up to a selected amount. A second suppressor section is adapted to absorb a load above the first shock-absorbing section, with a third suppressor system providing a transition between first and second suppressor action as load increases.

VACUUM SYSTEM FOR MITIGATING DAMAGE DUE TO A VACUUM PUMP MALFUNCTION

A vacuum system configured to mitigate damage or risk associated with a pump malfunction (e.g., an imbalance, a catastrophic failure, etc.). An exemplary vacuum pump includes a housing; a vibration isolator coupled to the vacuum pump housing and configured to isolate vibrations generated by the vacuum pump during operation; and a stop structure disposed between the vacuum pump housing and an adjacent fixture. The stop structure configured to prevent displacement of the vacuum pump housing relative to the fixture above a threshold amount, wherein the displacement of the vacuum pump housing is configured to be within the threshold amount during normal operation. The vacuum system may further include a collar configured to limit an axial displacement of the pump.

Hydraulic vibration damper having a rebound stop and a compression stop

A hydraulic vibration damper may include inner and outer tubes filled with damping liquid, a piston rod projecting axially out of the inner tube and movable in rebound and compression directions, a sealing and guide pack that sealingly closes an end of the outer tube and guides piston rod movement, a working piston for producing damping forces that is fastened to the piston rod and is guided on an inner lateral surface of the inner tube and subdivides the interior of the inner tube into a piston rod-side and piston rod-remote working spaces. The vibration damper has rebound and compression stops. In the piston rod-remote working space, a compression stop, starting from a predetermined retraction travel of the piston rod, may produce a travel- and speed-dependent compression stop force.

Spring element
11754141 · 2023-09-12 · ·

A spring element that includes one or more loop portions. Each loop portion provides vibration isolation characteristics for the spring element. One or more fastening portions of the spring element enable the fastening or connecting of the spring element to one or more structures. A ratio of a longitudinal measure of each loop portion to a transverse measure of the spring element is between 7.5 and 500. A pair of loop portions may be integrally joined together at a middle section to form a continuous loop. A pair of fastening portions may be integrally joined to opposing sides of the middle section, respectively. One of the fastening portions may be connected to a first structure and the other one of the fastening portions may be connected to a second structure.

Buffer bracket

The disclosure provides a buffer bracket, which comprises a base, a moving part, an elastic buffer and a positioning pin. The base is provided with a group of holes, which comprises a plurality of positioning holes arranged in sequence along the first direction. The moving part is movably fitted to the base along the first direction. The elastic buffer is elastically compressed between the base and the moving part. The locating pin is installed on the moving part. When the moving part moves forward in the first direction relative to the base under external force, the positioning pin is restricted to a certain positioning hole. The beneficial effect of the disclosure is that it can absorb impact energy and avoid rebound.

A seat, particularly a rocking chair, includes a frame, a seat surface and a backrest. The frame includes two lower frame parts extending forward from the backrest and each having a curved progression which is convex in downward direction. The seat can have with stop members arranged close to a front outer end and/or close to a rear outer end of each lower frame part. The stop members can be resiliently deformable. Additionally or alternatively the lower frame parts can each be covered on an underside thereof with a resilient and/or damping material. This resilient and/or damping material can comprise a shaped part connected to the relevant frame part. The stop members can be integrated in the shaped part. A stop member and a shaped part intended for application in such a seat.
