ADJUSTABLE DAMPING ARRANGEMENT FOR A NON-ROTATING TOOL HOLDER
A damper assembly for use with a non-rotating tool holder includes a hollow ram for supporting a non-rotating tool and a damper assembly mounted in the hollow ram for absorbing vibrations of the ram. The damper assembly includes a front plate and a rear plate, an upper tie rod and a lower tie rod extending between the front plate and the rear plate, and a damper mass mounted between the front plate and the rear plate. Ring dampers are mounted between the damper mass and the front and rear plates, and suspension springs are mounted between the upper tie rod and the lower tie rod. The suspension springs carry the weight of the damper mass so that the ring dampers do not have to carry the weight of the damper mass, and the damper mass is free to respond to vibrations in the ram.
CLUTCH PEDAL VIBRATION REDUCTION APPARATUS CAPABLE OF ADJUSTING DAMPING FORCE
A clutch pedal vibration reduction apparatus configured for adjusting damping force, may include a vibration absorbing damper for absorbing vibration transmitted to a clutch pedal, wherein a space is formed in the vibration absorbing damper, an internal thread is formed at an inlet, and a damping force adjusting device for adjusting damping force is thread-coupled to the internal thread inside the space.
VEHICLE DAMPING SYSTEM AND VEHICLE
An oil channel that connects, a right damper and a left damper includes a switching valve arranged between a right oil channel ER and a left oil channel EL. The switching valve includes a valve main body in which a first switching channel is formed for connecting the right oil channel ER and the left oil channel EL. The valve main body is rotatable to a first position where the first switching channel connects the right oil channel ER and the left oil channel EL to each other and to a second position different from the first position. According to this damping system, it is possible to adjust oil flow in the oil channel by performing a simple operation for the switching valve.
Vibration-damping device
A vibration-damping device includes a partition member provided with an orifice passage that allows a main liquid chamber and an auxiliary liquid chamber to communicate with each other, a plurality of first communication holes that allows the main liquid chamber and an accommodation chamber to communicate with each other, and a second communication hole that allows the auxiliary liquid chamber and the accommodation chamber to communicate with each other. A tubular member that protrudes in an axial direction toward the elastic body is disposed on a first wall surface of the partition member to which the first communication holes are open and which constitutes a portion of an inner surface of the main liquid chamber. The plurality of first communication holes are open to both an inner portion located inside the tubular member and an outer portion located outside the tubular member, on the first wall surface.
HYDRAULIC ENGINE MOUNT FOR VEHICLE
An engine mount includes a nozzle plate mounted between an insulator and a diaphragm so as to divide an interior into an upper liquid chamber and a lower liquid chamber, and an annular flow path formed in the nozzle plate so that an encapsulated hydraulic liquid flows between the upper liquid chamber and the lower liquid chamber, the nozzle plate being opened at an upper side of the flow path; a shielding member which has two or more shielding plates arranged to cover the upper side of the flow path; an adjusting bolt which is rotatably mounted in a core coupled to the insulator; and a connector, in which the shielding plates are folded or unfolded in accordance with a rotation of the adjusting bolt, and a size of an upper flow path hole is determined depending on a state in which the shielding plates are folded or unfolded.
VEHICLE SUSPENSION DAMPER
A vehicle suspension damper for providing a variable damping rate. The vehicle suspension damper comprises a first damping mechanism having a variable first threshold pressure, a second damping mechanism having a second threshold pressure, and a compressible chamber in communication with a damping fluid chamber, wherein the second damping mechanism is responsive to a compression of said compressible chamber.
Adjustable bleed valve assembly for shock absorber
The present disclosure relates to an adjustable bleed valve assembly for a shock absorber. The bleed valve assembly includes: a first adjustable bleed valve, and a second adjustable bleed valve arranged in series with the first adjustable bleed valve, wherein the first adjustable bleed valve and the second adjustable bleed valve are each pressure independently adjustable between a first open state and a second open state, wherein each adjustable bleed valve is adapted to throttle a damping fluid in the piston rod more in the second open state than in the first open state, wherein the first adjustable bleed valve and the second adjustable bleed valve are each adjustable between the first open state and the second open state independently from one another. An adjustment device and a method for adjusting the bleed valve assembly is also provided.
DAMPER VALVE AND VIBRATION DAMPER
A damper valve for a vibration damper, in particular of a motorized vehicle, comprises a valve body, at least one control disc arranged on the valve body and at least one rotatably mounted adjustment element, wherein the valve body, the control disc and the adjustment element are arranged coaxially, wherein the control disc is connected to the adjustment element for conjoint rotation and the control disc is rotatable relative to the valve body in order to open up at least one of a plurality of through-channels in the valve body for the flow of a damper fluid or to block the flow, wherein the valve body has a plurality of recesses with different opening areas which are covered by at least one valve disc, wherein in each case one through-channel leads into in each case one of the recesses.
PRELOAD ADJUSTER
A preload adjuster includes a main housing, a slide, and an adjuster stem. The slide is configured to telescopically translate relative to the main housing without rotating relative to the main housing. The slide includes a threaded slide portion. The adjuster stem is configured to rotate within the main housing. The adjuster stem has a threaded stem portion configured to mate with the threaded slide portion. Rotation of the adjuster stem modulates a length of the preload adjuster by telescopically translating the slide relative to the main housing.
