Provided is a composite material capable of measuring bending deformation, the composite material including: a first conductive composite body that is bendable; a dielectric body that is bendable and compressible; and a second conductive composite body that is bendable, wherein the first conductive composite body and the second conductive composite body are respectively stacked on both surfaces of the dielectric body, and heights of the first conductive composite body and the second conductive composite body from the dielectric body are different from each other.
Isolation system and method
An isolation system and method are disclosed. The isolation system includes a beam that includes a first end and a second end. The isolation system may include at least one clamping block comprising first elastomeric material, and the first end may be coupled with the first elastomeric material by the at least one clamping block. An end condition of the buckling beam may be varied based on compression stiffening of the first elastomeric material.
AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR ASSEMBLY
An aircraft landing gear assembly having a first landing gear element movably coupled relative to a second landing gear element to move between a first condition and a second condition. The aircraft landing gear assembly further comprises a fibre composite leaf spring formed from a plurality of composite layers and arranged between the first and second elements, the leaf spring being arranged to bend when the first element moves from the first condition to the second condition. The fibre composite leaf spring comprises a first region and a second region, wherein the number of composite layers in the first region is greater than the number of composite layers in the second region. The landing gear further comprises a mounting assembly arranged to engage the first region of the leaf spring to couple the leaf spring to the first landing gear element.
Amorphous metal strip and method for producing an amorphous metal strip
A method for the production of a metal strip is provided. The method includes providing an amorphous metal strip having a first main surface and a second, opposing main surface. The first and/or the second main surface are treated with a wet-chemical etching process and/or a photochemical etching process.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEDICAL DEVICE CONNECTORS
A connector assembly for use in a medical device system is provided. The connector assembly includes a female connector including a jack and at least one female electrical contact disposed in the jack, where the at least one female electrical contact includes an outer ring and leaf springs extending both radially inward from the outer ring and longitudinally along the jack. The connector assembly also includes a male connector including a plug adapted to be inserted into the jack of the female connector, and at least one male electrical contact disposed on the plug, where the at least one male electrical contact is configured to electrically couple to a corresponding female electrical contact of the at least one female electrical contact by contacting the plurality of leaf springs of the corresponding female electrical contact when the plug of the male connector is inserted into the jack of the female connector.

SHOES, DEVICES FOR SHOES, AND METHODS OF USING SHOES
A device for use in a shoe includes a first foot, a second foot, a third foot, a fourth foot, a first flexible leg, a second flexible leg, a third flexible leg, and a fourth flexible leg. The first flexible leg extends from the first foot and is curved. The second flexible leg extends from the second foot and is curved. The third flexible leg extends from the third foot and is curved. The fourth flexible leg extends from the fourth foot and is curved. The first flexible leg, second flexible leg, third flexible leg, and fourth flexible leg are joined together with each other at a common area. The first flexible leg, second flexible leg, third flexible leg, and fourth flexible leg are configured to store energy when a force is applied to the common area, and to return energy when the force is removed from the common area.
VIBRATION DAMPER, VIBRATION DAMPING APPARATUS, MOUNTING METHOD OF VIBRATION DAMPER, AND VIBRATION DAMPING METHOD
Two or more target points different in amplitude in a natural mode, which exist in a housing of an object to be damped such as an engine, a gearbox, motors, or the like are located. Among these target points, an arm is fixed at a position relatively small in amplitude, and a vibration absorber provided at the free end of the arm is pressed against a position (relatively large in amplitude. When vibrations occur in the object, the vibration absorber holds the target point relatively large in amplitude while the arm is following the vibrations of the target.
PENDULUM-TYPE DAMPING DEVICE
A vehicle transmission system component including a first subassembly having an input and an output, between which a torque can be transmitted. A second subassembly forms a pendulum-type damping device, and disposed outside the path of the torque transmitted by the first subassembly. The first and the second subassemblies are connected to one another by at least one connecting element capable of being elastically deformed circumferentially.
