TOOTHED BELT
A toothed belt includes a belt body made of a rubber composition. The rubber composition contains a hydrogenated nitrile rubber having a bound acrylonitrile content of 15% by mass or more and 30% by mass or less, has a hardness of A70 or more and A80 or less at a test temperature of 25? C., and has a cold resistance index of 0.25 or less after being heat-aged by being exposed to an atmosphere at a temperature of 140? C. for 144 hours, the cold resistance index being defined by the following formula (I):

RUBBER COMPOSITION AND RUBBER PRODUCTS USING SAME
Compositions useful for power transmission belts or hose which utilize environmentally friendly cellulosic reinforcing fibers. The elastomeric or rubber compositions include a base elastomer, polyvinylpyrrolidone, a cellulosic fiber, and a curative. The base elastomer may be one or more selected from ethylene elastomers, nitrile elastomers, and polychloroprene elastomers. The elastomer may be an ethylene-alpha-olefin elastomer. The polyvinylpyrrolidone may be present in an amount of 5 to 50 parts weight per hundred parts of the elastomer. The cellulosic fiber may be one or more selected from kenaf, jute, hemp, flax, ramie, sisal, wood, rayon, acetate, triacetate, and cotton. The cellulosic fiber may be a bast fiber. The cellulosic fiber is present in an amount of 1 to 50 parts weight per hundred parts of the elastomer.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLIGHTLESS, MONOLITHIC BELT
A method for making a reinforced monolithic belt (85) comprises: extruding belt material (80) onto a rotating molding wheel (12); passing the belt material (80) into a mold cavity (30) formed by an endless band (20) engaging on a peripheral portion of the molding wheel (12); and laying a coated reinforcing cord (45) onto the molding wheel (12) before the mold cavity (30). This method allows producing a reinforced monolithic belt with no flights.
FORCE TRANSMISSION BELT
The invention relates to a force transmission belt, formed of at least one belt material (2) having a belt longitudinal direction and having a belt width extending transversely to the belt longitudinal direction, containing a belt back (1), a tension-bearing element zone (3) having a plurality of tension-bearing elements arranged adjacent to each other over the belt width at a distance and parallel to each other, and a force transmission zone (6) adjoining the tension-bearing element zone (3). Said force transmission belt can be formed simply, economically, and with improved running properties in that the tension-bearing elements are formed by at least two narrow strips (4) of a pre-stretched plastic material, which strips are arranged adjacent to each other over the belt width and are spaced apart from each other by belt material (2).
Reinforcement cord for reinforcing rubber product, and rubber product using same
The reinforcing cord of the present invention includes at least one strand. The strand includes a bundle of filaments that are bundled and twisted together in one direction, and a coating layer that is formed on at least the surface of the bundle. The bundle consists essentially of carbon fiber filaments. The coating layer is a coating layer that is formed from an aqueous treatment agent containing a rubber latex and a crosslinking agent as essential components and a filler as an optional component. In the aqueous treatment agent, the total of the mass of the crosslinking agent and the mass of the filler is in a range of 1 to 50% of the mass of rubber in the rubber latex.
