Transmission belt
A transmission belt includes a belt body, two spaced-apart mounting axles and a reinforcing unit. The belt body forms a loop that defines an inner space. The mounting axles and the reinforcing unit are embedded in the belt body. The reinforcing unit includes at least one cord that includes a plurality of winding segments and a plurality of connecting segments. The winding segments alternately extend around the mounting axles. Each of the connecting segments interconnects a corresponding pair of the winding segments that respectively extend around the mounting axles.
FASTENER FOR CABLE CONVEYOR BELT
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a fastener is provided for securing to an end of a conveyor belt having cables. The fastener comprises a crimp configured to be fixed to a conveyor belt cable and a connector. The connector has a unitary, one-piece fastener body with an upper portion for being disposed adjacent an upper surface of the conveyor belt end and a lower portion for being disposed adjacent a lower surface of the conveyor belt end. The upper and lower portions are spaced apart to receive the crimp therebetween and permit the conveyor belt cable to extend in an outboard direction between the upper and lower portions. The connector includes a stop arranged to block inboard movement of the crimp and the conveyor belt cable fixed thereto.

Process belt
Apparatus comprising a process belt includes a woven rectangular planar structure with opposed longitudinal ends that are joined together to form an endless belt. The exemplary woven planar structure includes metal and glass warp fibers that extend in the longitudinal direction, and metal and/or glass weft fibers which extend transversely of the warp fibers. The diameter of the glass warp fibers is substantially greater than the diameter of the metal warp fibers which causes the outer surfaces of the glass fibers to extend outwardly of the metal warp fibers on the outer surface. This configuration causes items engaged with the outer surface to be operatively engaged with only the glass warp fibers. In exemplary arrangements a coating comprised of fluoropolymer extends on the fiber surfaces which comprise the entire outer surface of the planar structure and the belt.
Conveyor belt fastener and method of manufacture
In one aspect, a conveyor belt fastener is provided having a rigid body made from a strip of cold-rolled or cold-drawn material such as steel. The body has an upper plate portion, a lower plate portion, and loop portions connecting the upper and lower plate portions. The upper and lower plate portions each have a variable cross-sectional thickness laterally thereacross including raised walls projecting outwardly and ribs projecting inwardly. The fastener has at least one attachment member, such as a staple, for connecting the plate portions to a conveyor belt end and the raised walls protect the staple once driven into the conveyor belt end.

Method for attaching a connector element to a belt end of a conveyor belt
A method for attaching a connector element to a belt end of a conveyor belt, wherein the connector element has a base tier provided with central passages and an adhesive tier disposed on one side of the base tier that produces adhesive under the effect of heat, including (i) disposing the connector element on the belt end of the conveyor belt positioned in a U-shaped deflection that is disposed on averted sides of the belt and on one end side of the belt with the passages positioned in the region of the U-shaped deflection and the adhesive tier disposed so as to face the averted sides of the belt; and (ii) connecting the connector element to the averted sides of the belt, wherein the connector element is adhesively bonded to the belt under the effect of a heated pressing installation on both sides of the belt.
