PLATE LINK CHAIN
A plate link chain for a continuously variable cone pulley belt transmission of a motor vehicle includes a plurality of cradle thrust pieces arranged in joints, a plurality of link plates coupled by the joints, and a contact device disposed between a pair of the joints. The contact device includes a contact surface arranged to contact a pulley surface. In an example embodiment, the contact device is arranged in a free space of the plate link chain facing towards the pulley surface. In an example embodiment the contact device is attached to a one of the plurality of link plates. In an example embodiment, the plate link chain includes a frame, and the contact device is attached to the frame. In an example embodiment, the contact surface is convexly curved. In an example embodiment, the contact surface is elastic relative to the pulley surface.
CVT CONES THAT USE COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TRANSMISSION BELTS
A “Cone with One Torque Transmitting Member and One Non-Torque Transmitting Member” for CVT's that can be used with a commercially available Transmission Belt, which is Transmission Belt for which the teeth of said Transmission Belt are shaped below the belt of said Transmission Belt. In order to provide a Level Resting Place for its Transmission Belt on the conical (sloped) surfaces of its Cone, which are surfaces that are not covered by its Torque Transmitting Member or its Non-Torque Transmitting Member, its Torque Transmitting Member and its Non-Torque Transmitting Member each have a Leveling Extension. The Leveling Extension of its Torque Transmitting Member can enter and exit its Non-Torque Transmitting Member as required; and the Leveling Extension of its Non-Torque Transmitting Member can enter and exit its Torque Transmitting Member as required.
Drive belt
A drive belt includes a hoop and multiple elements joined together in a loop by the hoop. Each element has an assembly space into which one end portion of the hoop is inserted during assembly. Each element is configured such that a first opening width, which is a distance between a first hook and a second hook, is less than a width of the hoop, and a second opening width, which is a distance between the second hook and a contact site where the one end portion of the hoop housed in the assembly space contacts a first pillar, is greater than the width of the hoop. The first hook and the second hook respectively include a first displacement-restriction surface and a second displacement-restriction surface each configured to restrict relative displacement between the element and the hoop by contacting a corresponding one of edges of the hoop.

Plate link chain
A plate link chain for a continuously variable transmission in a motor vehicle comprising chain links. The chain links have link plates coupled to one another by pairs of rocker pins and at least two different sprocket pitches. At least one absorption mass is arranged between two pairs of rocker pins in an absorption space within a link plate inner contour.

Pushbelt for a continuously variable transmission and a transmission provided therewith
In a pushbelt for a continuously variable transmission that includes at least one endless carrier and a number of transverse segments, which are mounted on the endless carrier. The transverse segments include a bearing surface that contacts the radial inside of the endless carrier, as well as a convexly curved tilting edge that is a part of a main body surface of the transverse segment. According to the present disclosure the convex curvature of the tilting edge extends both radially inward or below and radially outward or above the bearing surface, at least as seen in radial or height direction relative to the endless carrier.

Chain composed of different pitch links with repeated sequence
A number of variations may include a product that may include a linking member that may have links arranged in rows that have multiple pitch lengths. Each of the rows may have at least one link. Each of the multiple pitch lengths may be a discrete length that may be different from others of the multiple pitch lengths. The rows may be arranged along the linking member in a repeating sequence of the multiple pitch lengths.
