ADJUSTABLE BUNGEE FASTENER
20210088108 · 2021-03-25 ·

The bungee fastener has a tapered chute that accepts a locking slider. A channel forms an opening in a side of the body thereby allowing passage of the slider through the channel. A plurality of slider teeth along a portion of the slider within the tapered chute may lock onto a bungee when the slider is slid into a locked position. The slider moves along the channel, thereby selectively narrowing the tapered chute with the slider teeth as the slider is slid into the locked position and enlarging the tapered chute as the slider is slid into the unlocked position. The bungee fastener may include a single slider or a plurality of sliders.

Cord-securing mechanism

A cord-securing mechanism includes a base portion, an aperture, and a cord-securing portion coupled to the base portion. The cord-securing portion includes at least a pair of cord-retaining surfaces that oppose one another and are spaced apart by a cord-receiving slot. When used in combination with a cord, the cord-securing mechanism may assist with setting a position of the cord and with impeding the cord from returning to a default position.

Method and apparatus for locking assemblies

Locking assemblies are provided for connecting to a stranded element. The locking assemblies include a housing with a receiving bore, locking bore, and aperture. The stranded element enters the housing through the receiving bore. A drive shaft can advance a locking element in the locking bore such that the locking element contacts the stranded element to apply a force to secure the stranded element to the locking assembly. Ends of the stranded element can be pushed by the locking element out of the housing through the aperture. The locking assemblies can be used for mechanical and/or electrical connections. Examples of stranded elements include electrical wires, mechanical stranded cables, rope, and other multi-strand materials.

ROPE GRIPPING MEMBER OF A HOISTING APPARATUS, ROPE GRIPPING DEVICE, TERMINAL ARRANGEMENT AND HOISTING APPARATUS

CORD LOCK
20200256424 · 2020-08-13 ·

A cord lock for adjusting the length of a cord includes a main body with a through hole, in which a cord can be inserted. A friction member is blocked in the main body in such a manner that a portion of a tooth thereof narrows the gap of the through-hole in order to limit the sliding of the cord.

STEERING SYSTEM

A steering system includes a rod member, a housing, and a clamping member. The housing has a clamping slit and includes a first clamp-receiving portion and a second clamp-receiving portion that project so as to sandwich the clamping slit therebetween. The clamping member includes a fixed cam, a clamping shaft, a rotary cam, and a clamping lever. The fixed cam is fitted in the first clamp-receiving portion from an outer side of the first clamp-receiving portion. The fixed cam has a third through hole extending through the fixed cam coaxially with a first axis. The third through hole has a small diameter portion at a first portion close to the rotary cam and a large diameter portion having a diameter larger than a diameter of the small diameter portion at a second portion away from the rotary cam.

Barrier cable anchor

A barrier cable anchor for mechanically coupling a barrier cable to a barrier retaining structure comprises an anchor body comprising a mounting extension and an anchor body extension and including a radially extending mounting face, a retaining collar coupled to the anchor body extension and including a tapered inner surface, and one or more retaining wedges positioned within the retaining collar. The anchor body extension, mounting extension, and retaining collar may have bores therethrough. The retaining collar may include a threaded outer surface and the anchor body extension may include a threaded inner surface and the retaining collar may be threadedly coupled to the anchor body extension. The anchor may further comprise an anchor cap retained to the anchor body extension. The anchor cap may include a threaded inner surface and the retaining collar may be threadedly coupled to the anchor cap.

Cable gripper insert
