Spring Lace Ratcheting Device
20210251341 · 2021-08-19 ·

The Lace Ratchet System (LRS) is a parallel configuration of two Lace Ratchet Devices (LRD) which facilitate two laces fastening. The LRD has two states: “active” and “inactive”. In the active state the device works as unidirectional lace ratchet allowing the lace to be pulled forwards but restricting any lace motion backwards. After fastening the lace remains fastened until the LRD is switched into inactive state by manually releasing a latch. Each LRD has a turning gate rotatably installed diagonally in a channel with a sharp metallic front end. A resilient plate serves as preloaded spring that keeps the LRD in active position when the spring is not released. The LRD's smooth front end side and smooth channels' floors minimize lace wear. The LRS can be coupled with a clamp which clamps the laces' front ends to prevent dangling. The entire LRS except the blades is made of plastic.

CORD RESTRAINT FOR ELECTRICAL CORDS
20210288445 · 2021-09-16 ·

A device and method for holding an electrical cord, such as a cellular phone charging cord, so that the electrical cord is easily restrained, located and retrieved. The device may be constructed of a flexible body that may be in any desirable shape. The body is provided with a slit that extends some distance, and in some embodiments, approximately halfway through the body. An electrical cord can be inserted through the slit. At the center of the body, the slit is enlarged to form a channel for receiving the cord. With the cord thus secured within the channel, the body makes the cord easier to find and less likely to slip or fall off of a surface where the cord is to be placed.

Push button slide mechanism and method of assembling the same

A push button slide mechanism, includes an outer member having a bottom wall and an upstanding side wall. The outer member defines at least one pair of holes through the upstanding side wall. The mechanism includes an inner member having a top plate and a bottom plate defining a single annular channel therebetween. The single annular channel receives an elongated member in all rotational positions of the inner member relative to the outer member. A spring member spring-biases the outer member relative to the inner member. Pressing the inner member toward the outer member against the spring forces of the spring causes the single annular channel to align with the holes through the upstanding side wall of the outer member.

A cord lock includes various components used to slidably adjust a length of cord. The cord lock may include a first cord-clamp bar and a second cord-clamp bar that are movably coupled to each other, to allow control of frictional resistance on a cord threaded through various apertures and cord-receiving channels of the cord lock. The cord lock may be incorporated into an article such that it is at least partially concealed within an article layer.

A cord lock includes various components used to slidably adjust a cord length, such as one or more housing components that releasably clamp around the cord. In one aspect, the cord lock includes an arrangement of magnets that bias the cord-lock housing components away from one another, in order to secure the cord between the housing components. The housing components can be pressed towards one another to slidably adjust the cord. In a further aspect, the cord lock may also include a magnetized excess-cord retainer that attaches to a portion of the cord and that releasably attaches to the cord lock in order to help gather excess cord pulled through the cord lock.

DEVICE FOR SECURING ORNAMENTS TO A TREE
20210100387 · 2021-04-08 ·

A device for securing ornaments to a tree and equally useful as a device for securing lightweight objects to an elongated object. The device may include a looped filament; a base secured to a portion of the filament; and a toggle releasably secured to the looped filament, wherein the looped string is attached to the lightweight object and the toggle secures the looped string to a the elongated object by clamping or cinching it. The lightweight object may be a holiday ornament and the elongated object a portion of a tree branch or limb, wherein the device festoons holiday ornament on the tree.

DRAWSTRING LOCK
20210123501 · 2021-04-29 ·

The present invention discloses a drawstring lock comprising a housing that allows the two ends of a drawstring to pass through, a stop mechanism disposed on the housing, and a lock mechanism connected to the stop mechanism. The housing is able to shift freely along the drawstring and once reaching its desired position, it is able to operate the stop mechanism so that the housing is stopped and cannot be shifted. Subsequently, the lock mechanism is used to lock the stop mechanism, keeping it secured until the lock mechanism is unlocked.

ADJUSTABLE BUNGEE FASTENER
20210088108 · 2021-03-25 ·

The bungee fastener has a tapered chute that accepts a locking slider. A channel forms an opening in a side of the body thereby allowing passage of the slider through the channel. A plurality of slider teeth along a portion of the slider within the tapered chute may lock onto a bungee when the slider is slid into a locked position. The slider moves along the channel, thereby selectively narrowing the tapered chute with the slider teeth as the slider is slid into the locked position and enlarging the tapered chute as the slider is slid into the unlocked position. The bungee fastener may include a single slider or a plurality of sliders.
