Securing device and method of use
Embodiments are provided for a securing device that has a housing, one or more securing members, a center protruding member, and a reservoir. Additionally, located between the securing members and the center protruding member is a trough and one or more valleys. A rope member is capable of semi-circling the center protruding member and being secured to the securing device by the securing members. Additionally, a rope member can be secured to the securing device by passing a portion of the rope member through at least one internal channel located within an interior of the securing device.
Cord-securing mechanism
A cord-securing mechanism includes a base portion, an aperture, and a cord-securing portion coupled to the base portion. The cord-securing portion includes at least a pair of cord-retaining surfaces that oppose one another and are spaced apart by a cord-receiving slot. When used in combination with a cord, the cord-securing mechanism may assist with setting a position of the cord and with impeding the cord from returning to a default position.
Rope connection system, devices, and methods
A device configured to join two ropes includes a device body that extends from a first end to a second end along a central axis, the device body including an inner surface defining a through hole that extends through both the first end and the second end, the device body defining an inner dimension. The device defines an unassembled configuration in which the first and second ropes are positioned outside the through hole and the inner dimension is smaller than both the first outer diameter and the second outer diameter. The device defines an assembled configured in which a portion of each of the first and second ropes are positioned in the through hole, and the inner dimension is greater than both the first outer diameter and the second outer diameter.
Adjustable bungee fastener
The bungee fastener has a tapered chute that accepts a locking slider. A channel forms an opening in a side of the body thereby allowing passage of the slider through the channel. A plurality of slider teeth along a portion of the slider within the tapered chute may lock onto a bungee when the slider is slid into a locked position. The slider moves along the channel, thereby selectively narrowing the tapered chute with the slider teeth as the slider is slid into the locked position and enlarging the tapered chute as the slider is slid into the unlocked position. The bungee fastener may include a single slider or a plurality of sliders.
CORD LOCK
A cord lock for adjusting the length of a cord includes a main body with a through hole, in which a cord can be inserted. A friction member is blocked in the main body in such a manner that a portion of a tooth thereof narrows the gap of the through-hole in order to limit the sliding of the cord.
Cord fixture
The present invention is directed to a cord fixture for attachment to a cord. The cord fixture includes a body having at least one side wall, and a slot in the at least one side wall for retaining the cord therein when the cord is in a fixed condition. The slot has a neck portion and an enlarged end portion adjacent the neck portion. The neck portion is configured to guide the cord into the enlarged end portion such that the cord can be releasably retained within the enlarged end portion.
INDUCTOR
An inductor includes a coil having a plurality of coil patterns and external electrodes connected thereto. An innermost coil pattern and an outermost coil pattern in the coil grow using first and second insulating wall as growth guides and the inductor has a structure in which there is no deviation in thickness and shape between the coil patterns.
Auxiliary rope knotter
An auxiliary rope knotter includes an interior formed with a first through hole, a second through hole, a first locking groove and a second locking groove which are parallel with each other. In the cross-sectional face of the auxiliary rope knotter, the first center connecting line formed by the first through hole and the second through hole intersects the second center connecting line formed by the first locking groove and the second locking groove, such that the rope is easily knotted by the auxiliary rope knotter.
TUBE GUIDANCE MEANS FOR A LABORATORY AUTOMATION SYSTEM
A tube guidance means (36) for a laboratory automation system (10) comprises a plate (40) with a guide opening (38); wherein the guide opening (38) has two partial openings (42) which are separated by a land (46) and which are connected by a slot (44); and wherein the partial openings (42) have cutouts (54) for guiding a tube (32), the cutouts (54) being located opposite each other on edges (52) which face away from each other.
CORD LOCK
A cord lock includes various components used to slidably adjust a length of cord. The cord lock may include a first cord-clamp bar and a second cord-clamp bar that are movably coupled to each other, to allow control of frictional resistance on a cord threaded through various apertures and cord-receiving channels of the cord lock. The cord lock may be incorporated into an article such that it is at least partially concealed within an article layer.
