Method of terminating a stranded synthetic filament cable

A method for straightening, constraining, cutting and terminating a multi-stranded, non-parallel cable. The method includes: (1) dividing the cable into smaller components which are in the size range suitable for the prior art termination technology; (2) creating a termination on the end of each of the smaller components; (3) providing a collector which reassembles the individual terminations back into a single unit; and (4) maintaining alignment between the terminations and the smaller components while the terminations and the collector are in a connected state.

A safety device with a sliding cable and a corresponding installation, to secure conduits, pipes, piping and similar equipments subject to high pressure due to fluid under pressure circulating in such conduits and equipments. The safety device includes a flexible cable which forms a first and a second attachment eyelet for attaching and connecting the safety device to two parts of the conduits and equipments under pressure. A first and a second sleeve which close two end portions of the flexible cable form, at the ends of the safety device, the first and second attachment eyelets. Two terminals are provided at the opposite ends of the flexible cable.

HELICAL JUMPER CONNECTOR

A helical jumper connector includes a helical support member configured to support a wire. The helical support member includes a first leg having a first helical winding and a second leg having a second helical winding that defines a second axial opening. The first axial opening and the second axial opening are coaxial with the wire when the first helical winding and the second helical winding are wrapped around the wire and cooperatively engage with one another to support the wire. A jumper casting is configured to receive the helical support member. The helical support member and the jumper casting are electrically conductive such that the helical jumper connector forms an electrically conductive pathway to carry electrical current from the wire. A method of making a helical jumper connector assembly includes applying a compression force to a helical jumper connector comprising a helical support member received in a jumper casting.

EYELET ASSEMBLY

A wall and/or ceiling mount for receiving a fastening rope. The wall and/or ceiling mount comprises receptacles and angled receptacles for affixing the wall and/or ceiling mount, angled receptacles, and a fastening region for the releasable fastening of the rope. The wall and/or ceiling mount has a receiving opening formed therein which is arranged on a lower side between two receptacles and is spanned by a curved connecting region. An outlet opening in the rope guide running in the wall and/or ceiling mount is arranged frontally and approximately centrally on the wall and/or ceiling mount. Above said outlet opening, a further receptacle forms a fastening region on which the loop end rests. A mount at said fastening region secures the loop end which is layable releasably thereon.

SYSTEM FOR BRACING A TENSILE ELEMENT IN A VEHICLE
20190329888 · 2019-10-31 ·

A system for bracing a tensile element in a vehicle has an elongate tensile element having a traction eyelet, a structurally fixed holder, and a tensioning device. The tensioning device has an angled tensioning lever having first and second leg portions with a pivot bearing disposed therebetween. The fixed holder has a bearing which for coupling to the traction eyelet is displaceable along a first direction. The tensioning lever by way of the pivot bearing is coupled to the holder. The first leg portion is coupled to the bearing such that the bearing by pivoting the tensioning lever is displaced in the holder. The second leg portion has a tensioning means which by displacing the bearing sets a variable spacing between the second leg portion and a tensioning face that faces the second leg portion.
