Torsional vibration damper

A torsional vibration damper includes a planetary rotary unit and an elastic body that couples two rotary elements of three rotary elements so that the two rotary elements can rotate relatively to each other. The torsional vibration damper includes a shaft supporting member by which a rotation center axis of at least any one rotary element of the two rotary elements and a rotation center axis of the rotary element other than the planetary rotary unit and the two rotary elements are held on the same axis. The shaft supporting member has a holding section that is disposed in a position between fellow planetary rotary elements and not making contact with the planetary rotary elements and that fits with and thereby suppresses movement of the rotary element other than the planetary rotary unit and the two rotary elements in the axial direction.

A planetary gearbox including a first sun gear; a first ring gear; a first set of planet gears meshing with the first sun gear and the first ring gear; a second sun gear; a second ring gear; a second plurality of planet gears meshing with the second ring gear and the second sun gear, wherein the i.sup.th gear in the first set of planet gears is fixed to the i.sup.th gear in the second set of planet gears so that the gears in the first set and the second set rotate together coaxially. The resulting planetary gearbox can be readily integrated into compact robotic joints. Its few lightweight components can be manufactured with high accuracy with standard machining techniques.

At least one of the wheels includes a hub motor arrangement that provides a drive torque for propelling the vehicle. The hub motor arrangement includes a housing defining an interior space. An axle or other mounting element(s) define an axis of rotation of the housing. Preferably, the axle or other mounting element(s) do not pass completely through the housing. A motor drives the housing through a transmission. Preferably, the motor is a standard, compact motor that is positioned on the axis of rotation and can be laterally offset from a central plane of the housing. In some embodiments, a traction element is carried directly by the housing.

This comprises a spindle extending along a spindle drive axis and a spindle drive motor coupled to the spindle in terms of drive, the motor shaft of which is arranged substantially coaxially with respect to the spindle drive axis. The spindle drive motor is coupled to the spindle via a two-stage epicyclic gearing. Furthermore, a vehicle hatch with such a spindle drive assembly is presented. A method for installing an epicyclic gearing of such a spindle drive assembly is additionally specified.

The ring gear includes a forward portion with a forward set of teeth in meshing engagement with the forward set of teeth on each of the plurality of intermediate gears and an aft portion with an aft set of teeth in meshing engagement with the aft set of teeth on each of the plurality of intermediate gears. A carrier includes a carrier forward portion and a carrier aft portion. Each of the plurality of intermediate gears are located axially between the carrier forward portion and the carrier aft portion.

The movable planet carrier includes a movable ring gear which carries an internal toothing and which is independent of the stationary ring gear, each of the planet gears being meshed with the sun gear and the stationary and movable ring gears.
