A feedback actuator for a steering device of a motor vehicle may include a steering shaft that is mounted so as to be rotatable about a longitudinal axis extending in a longitudinal direction and that, by way of a belt drive, is coupled to a motor shaft of an electric motor so as to be able to be rotatably driven. The belt drive may have at least one pair of belt pulleys having two belt pulleys that are wrapped by a belt. One of the belt pulleys may be operatively connected to the motor shaft and one may be operatively connected to the steering shaft. The two belt pulleys of the pair of belt pulleys may be disposed so as to be mutually coaxial or at a mutual angle.
Power transmission drive for robotic applications
A power transmission drive includes a force amplifier configured to increase power output of at least one motor. The force amplifier includes a first pulley set and a second pulley set, each pulley set including at least one floating pulley and at least one fixed pulley. The first pulley set and the second pulley set are coupled to one or more motors by a corresponding force amplification fiber in tension. Actuation of the one or more motors actuate the first pulley set and the second pulley set. The first pulley set and the second pulley set transmit the force applied by the one or more motors to an output component.
WINCH-PULLEY DRIVE SYSTEM FOR SOLAR TRACKER
One embodiment provides a drive system that includes a drive device with at least one drum for spooling at least one wire rope. A mounting device is connected to the drive device and a single-axis tracker. At least one partial pulley is connected to a torque tube. The at least one partial pulley is configured to accept the at least one wire rope and to transfer leveraged drive forces to the torque tube.
Surgical end effectors and pulley assemblies thereof
An end effector of a surgical tool includes a first jaw and a second jaw rotated by a driving pulley. A first driven pulley is attached to the first jaw and a second driven pulley is attached to the second jaw. A first end portion of a first cable is connected to a first radial side of the first driven pulley, a second end portion of the first cable is connected to a second radial side of the second driven pulley, and an intermediate portion of the first cable is connected to the driving pulley. A first end portion of a second cable is connected to a first radial side of the second driven pulley, a second end portion of the second cable is connected to a second radial side of the first driven pulley, and an intermediate portion of the second cable is connected to the driving pulley.
POSTURE CORRECTION MECHANISM
A posture correction mechanism includes a carrier attached to a housing, and a gearwheel rotatably attached to the housing, the gearwheel includes a screw hole engaged with a screw which is moveable up and down relative to the housing for driving the gearwheel to rotate relative to the housing, two shafts are rotatably attached to the carrier and each has an arm rest, two gears are rotatably attached to the carrier and engaged with the gearwheel, the gears are connected to the shafts for allowing the shafts to be driven by the gearwheel to rotate relative to the carrier and for allowing the arm rests to be rotated toward or away from the user.
Cable driven motion systems for robotic surgical tools
A surgical tool includes a drive housing having an input shaft arranged therein for rotation, a shaft extending from the drive housing and having an end effector arranged at a distal end thereof, and a drive cable extending within the shaft and operatively coupled to the end effector. A cable band is coupled to the input shaft and operatively couples the input shaft to the drive cable, and an idler pulley is rotatably mounted within the drive housing, the cable band being routed at least partially around the idler pulley. Rotation of the input shaft moves the cable band and thereby controls longitudinal movement of the drive cable to articulate the end effector.
Passive transmissions, and methods of making and using same
A transmission is presented, including a spool having a bore. An outer member disposed on the spool, and a cord is configured to at least partially wrap around the outer member. The outer member is configured to constrict and unconstrict to a force applied to the outer member. In this way, rotation of the spool causes a tension force to be applied to the cord, and a greater tension force in the cord will cause the outer member to constrict more than a lower tension force in the cord.
POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE
A power transmission device is provided including: a base, provided with a pair of left and right drive pulleys; an intermediate member, rotatably supported by the base about a first axis; and a driven member, rotatably supported by the intermediate member about a second axis. A pair of left wires wound in opposite directions are fixed to the left drive pulley and the driven member. A pair of right wires wound in opposite directions to each other are fixed to the right drive pulley and the driven member. By the drive pulleys, when the driven member is rotated in the same direction about the second axis, torque in opposite directions about the first axis is applied to the driven member, and when the driven member is rotated in opposite directions about the second axis, torque in the same direction about the first axis is applied to the driven member.
