The second supporting portion includes a first vehicle body mounting portion and a second vehicle body mounting portion provided to project outwardly of the rack housing portion, the first and second vehicle body mounting portions being mounted on a vehicle body. The first and second vehicle body mounting portions are arranged to be shifted in an axial direction of the rack housing portion so as not to overlap in the axial direction.
MULTI-LAYER SLIDING MEMBER AND AUTOMOBILE RACK-AND-PINION STEERING APPARATUS USING SAME
A multi-layer sliding member (1) includes a backing plate (2) formed from a steel plate, a copper-plated or nickel-plated layer (4) formed on one surface (3) of the backing plate (2), a porous sintered metal layer (5) integrally bonded to the surface (3) of the backing plate (2) through the layer (4), and a coating layer (8) filling pores (6) and coating on the surface (7) of the porous sintered metal layer (5) and formed from a synthetic resin composition. The synthetic resin composition contains a PTFE as a main component and further contains, as additives, 5 to 30% by mass of a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer, 5 to 12% by mass of a polyarylketone resin, 5 to 12% by mass of a melt moldable fluororesin, and 1 to 5% by mass of a polyimide resin.
Reconfigurable machining center
A reconfigurable machining center includes a base structure extending in a first direction, a movable crossmember movable in the first direction and provided with a machining head, supporting elements on the base structure to enable movement of the movable crossmember along the first direction, a first leadscrew rack, integral with the base structure and having a first helical circular toothed sector, and extending along the entire base structure parallel to the first direction, and a first screw rotatably coupled to the movable crossmember and engaging a corresponding first leadscrew rack, and having a rotation axis parallel to the first direction. The longitudinal extension of the base structure in the first direction is an integer multiple of the pitch of tooth of the leadscrew racks, and the base structure includes coupling elements adapted to couple the base structure to a following and/or preceding adjacent base structure along the first direction.
Turbofan comprising a set of rotatable blades for blocking off the bypass flow duct
A turbofan having a nacelle comprising a slider translatable between an advanced position and a retracted position to open a window between a duct and the exterior, a plurality of blades, each one rotatable on the slider between a stowed position and a deployed position, and a maneuvering system that moves each blade and comprises, for each blade, a shaft rotatable on the slider and on which the blade is fixed, and a toothed sector fixed to the shaft, and a toothed arc rotatable on the slider about a longitudinal axis, where the teeth of the toothed arc mesh with the teeth of each toothed sector, a cam, as one with the toothed arc, and a groove, as one with a fixed structure, which receives the cam and where, when the slider moves, the cam follows the groove and rotates the toothed arc.
