The lubrication system may include a lubrication system reservoir for storing a lubrication liquid; and a distribution system. The distribution system may be configured to refill, with the lubrication liquid, a transmission system reservoir that is configured to lubricate the transmission system component. The refill occurs while the transmission system component and the lubrication system are positioned within a vacuum chamber.

A retaining ring is detachably coupled within the retaining slot. A cylindrical baffle is detachably retained between the retaining ring and the retaining lip.

A system includes an oil filling device for a transmission, the transmission having a recess. The oil filling device includes a slotted bushing which is provided with an axially uninterrupted recess through which a cone unit projects, the cone unit having an external thread onto which a nut is screwed, on the side of the slotted bushing facing away from the transmission. The cone unit includes a region that widens in the direction of the transmission, and/or a cone region which presses the slotted bushing against the transmission, in particular in the axial region covered by the recess.

Each of the oil drain hole and the oil feed hole is in a portion of the gear housing portion.

The first portion has a body configured to be mounted to the axle housing to protect at least portion of the ground-facing surface of the axle housing. The body includes an opening configured to allow access to and removal of the drain plug through the opening. The second portion is removably couplable to the first portion. When the second portion is attached to the first portion, the second portion covers the opening to protect the drain plug. When the second portion is removed, the drain plug is accessible and removable to service oil in the axle housing.
