Ring gear mounting arrangement with oil scavenge scheme
An epicyclic gear train for a gas turbine engine according to an example of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a gutter having an annular channel, a sun gear rotatable about an axis, intermediary gears arranged circumferentially about and meshing with the sun gear, and a carrier supporting the intermediary gears, and a ring gear arranged about and intermeshing with the intermediary gears, the ring gear having an aperture axially aligned with the annular channel. The ring gear includes axially spaced apart walls that extend radially outward to define a passageway, and the passageway is arranged radially between the aperture and the annular channel such that the walls inhibit an axial flow of an oil passing from the aperture toward the annular channel.
MOTOR UNIT HAVING A LUBRICANT CIRCUIT
A motor unit is provided having an electric motor and a transmission, which are mechanically joined together and arranged in a housing, wherein the motor unit comprises a lubricant circuit, which lubricates the electric motor and the transmission, wherein a lubricant pump is provided, having an outlet and at least two inlets for lubricant. Furthermore, a lubricant sump is provided, which is arranged beneath the electric motor and/or the transmission in the housing during use, having at least two suction points. A method is also provided for the circulation of lubricant in a motor unit.
PRESSING DEVICE FOR TOROIDAL CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Provided is a pressing device for a toroidal continuously variable transmission that is capable of sufficiently supplying lubrication oil to all rollers inside a pocket, and is capable of suppressing the occurrence of fretting wear on the rolling surfaces of the rollers, a first cam surface and a second cam surface. An oil passage 28 is provided for supplying lubrication oil to the inside of each pocket 25 in the inside portion in the radial direction of a retainer 14 that holds a plurality of more than one roller 13 arranged in a row in the radial direction. The center axis O.sub.29 of a discharge port 29 that is provided on an end portion on the downstream side of the oil passage 28 and that opens to the inside surface in the radial direction of the pocket 25 is inclined toward the front side in the rotational direction of the retainer 14 with respect to the center axis of the pocket 25.
LUBRICATING OIL PIPING GUTTER OF AN AIRCRAFT TURBOMACHINE
The present disclosure describes a lubrication oil piping gutter of an aircraft turbomachine. The lubrication oil piping gutter can be used for a sun gear train reducer of the turbomachine. The gutter may include two lateral annular walls connected at their outer periphery by an annular bottom wall. In some embodiments, the annular bottom wall may include at least one oil evacuation opening in which is located a deflector configured to facilitate the flow of oil radially from the inside to the outside of the gutter.
WORKING VEHICLE WITH TRAVELING DEVICE HAVING WHEELS
A traveling device (11) is provided with an electric motor (16) provided in a vehicle body (2) of a dump truck (1), an output shaft (17) an axial base end of which is connected to the electric motor (16) and which outputs rotation of the electric motor (16), a bottomed hole spline (53) formed in an axial front end of the output shaft (17), and an input shaft (42) which has a shaft spline (54) spline-coupled to the hole spline (53), and inputs the rotation of the output shaft (17) to a reduction gear mechanism (27). The output shaft (17) is provided with an oil reservoir space (55) formed in the innermost part of the hole spline (53), an annular oil groove (56) and an oil path (57) providing communication between the oil reservoir space (55) and the annual oil groove (56). Lubricant oil (100) supplied to the annular oil groove (56) is supplied via the oil path (57) to the oil reservoir space (55), and is supplied to a spline joint between the hole spline (53) and the shaft spline (54) with rotation of the output shaft (17).
