The device includes at least two operating parts which are retained on a base element of the selector lever that can move between the positions, and which can be moved towards one another out of a deactivation position into an activation position, in order to thereby bring about a starting of a drive device of the motor vehicle, as well as a blocking device which is designed to block the operating parts in the activation position, and to bring about a movement of the operating parts out of the activation position into the deactivation position as a result of a movement of the selector lever out of the second position into the parking position.
Rotary shifter assembly
A rotary shifter assembly for changing gears in a vehicle transmission includes a shaft (16) that is rotatably supported in a housing (12) and movable between radial positions for indicating a gear change. A shift knob (10) is coupled to a first end of the shaft for actuation by a user. A plurality of flexible locking fingers (40) extend from the second end, and an overload wheel (18) is disposed about the fingers. The fingers engage the wheel to couple it with the shaft for concurrent rotation. A locking mechanism (64) engages the wheel to selectively prevent and allow concurrent rotation of the wheel and shaft during normal operation. The fingers move relative to the wheel to permit temporary rotation of the shaft relative to the wheel when a force applied to the shaft is beyond a maximum torque threshold, and automatically return to concurrent rotation with the wheel once the force is below the threshold.
Display and operating device for a vehicle component
The invention relates to a display and operating device (10) for at least one vehicle component, in particular a radio, a CD and/or DVD player or similar audio and/or video player, a navigation device, an infotainment device, a heating, ventilating or aid condition control unit, or a human-machine interface, which is provided with a mechanical control element (18) for setting an operational parameter of at least one first vehicle component and a touch screen (12) for outputting information, and control keys (14) and/or other operational parameters for the first vehicle component and/or at least one second vehicle component. The touch screen (12) comprises a recess (16) and the mechanical operating element (18) is arranged in the recess (16) of the touch screen (12).
Shift-by-wire shift element integrated into a motor vehicle hand rest
A rest element extends along a transverse direction from a passenger side to an opposite driver side and has a rest surface, which faces in a vertical direction, for a user's hand. A shift element is arranged at a driver-side end of the rest element and between the rest surface and an opposite lower side of the rest element, for operating a shift-by-wire gear selection controller. The shift element is configured to be movable along the transverse direction between a stowage position and a shift position. The shift element is arranged immovably with respect to a longitudinal direction in the stowage position and is mounted movably unidirectionally or bidirectionally in the shift position.
Hybrid vehicle provided with an electronically controlled transmission
A hybrid vehicle comprising: a pair of drive wheels; an internal combustion heat engine; an electrically controlled transmission; a control unit of the heat engine; a control unit of the transmission; a passenger compartment having a driver's seat provided with a plurality of controls that can be operated by the driver and comprise a steering wheel, an accelerator pedal, a brake pedal and transmission control means; and an electronic control unit of the transmission control means that is physically installed in the passenger compartment close to the transmission control means, fulfills the function of acquiring the current position of the transmission control means and also fulfills the function of vehicle management unit by receiving the orders given by the driver and by providing the control unit of the heat engine and the control unit of the transmission with the corresponding objectives to meet the driver's needs.
Movable switch module for automatic transmission of vehicle
A movable switch module for an automatic transmission of a vehicle includes an actuating cylinder including a body and a rod extendable to a vehicle interior space through the center fascia, a body rotating unit provided at the body of the actuating cylinder, a switch box connected to an end of the rod, to move in accordance with operation of the actuating cylinder, and provided with switches at one side of the switch box, a pressure-sensitive touch pad disposed in the interior space at a position spaced apart from the center fascia, to sense a variation in pressure applied thereto, and a controller for controlling the actuating cylinder and the body rotating unit when sensing an intention of a driver to operate one switch, based on a signal from the touch pad, to control the switch box to protrude to a position where a hand of the driver is located.
Direct drive pivot and pivot lockup of a transmission system and method thereof
A method of controlling a transmission includes providing an input, an output, a controller, a control system, a hydrostatic unit, and a geartrain. The geartrain includes a direct drive pivot clutch and a steer drive geartrain. The method also includes receiving a pivot command by the controller from a shift selector, where the command indicates the shift selector is in a pivot position. The method further includes engaging the direct drive pivot clutch, decoupling the hydrostatic unit from a torque path defined between the input and the output, and coupling the input and the output to one another via a second torque path. The second torque path is defined through the direct drive pivot clutch and the steer drive geartrain. The transmission is controllable in a direct drive steer operation.
WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle includes a restrainer vehicle speed setter to set a restrainer vehicle speed, and a switch restrainer to permit switching of the forward/backward travel switching device while a detected vehicle speed is lower than the restrainer vehicle speed and prevent switching of the forward/backward travel switching device while the detected vehicle speed is a high speed not lower than the restrainer vehicle speed.
Apparatus and method for controlling driving of vehicle
