SHIFT APPARATUS
To provide such a shift apparatus that, even if, at the time of electrically applying a reaction force to a rotation operation of a shift apparatus, an abnormality occurs in a control device that provides an instruction to apply this reaction force, it is not enabled to switch to a range the operation of which is originally restricted. In a case where an abnormality occurs in reaction force application instruction means, reaction force application control means applies a reaction force against a rotation operation in a direction opposite to a parking range relative to a current range. Thereby, it is possible to reduce the possibility that a vehicle travels with an instruction to apply reaction force remaining in an abnormal state.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PARKING ACTUATOR CONTROL
A shift device and method for coupling with a vehicle including a transmission and an electric parking actuator. The shift device includes a housing, a battery, a display interface, and a shift device connector. The shift device connector is on an end of the housing for electrically coupling the shift device to the vehicle. The shift device also includes a processor operatively connected to the battery, the display interface, and the shift device connector. Upon insertion of a first connector of the vehicle into the shift device connector, the controller receives a shift position of the transmission and controls the electric parking actuator to change the shift position of the transmission.
Apparatus and method for controlling shifting of a vehicle
An apparatus and a method for controlling shifting of a vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes a transmission configured to transmit power generated from by a motor to a vehicle wheel, and a controller configured to control an operation of the transmission. The controller is configured to enter a LURCH control mode when sensing shifting of a shift lever between a D range and an R range during driving to maintain a clutch torque in the transmission, to decrease a vehicle speed by controlling a motor speed, and to shift a gear of the vehicle by changing a motor torque when the vehicle speed reaches a threshold speed.

DUAL PUSH BUTTON SWITCH ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A dual push button switch assembly for a vehicle includes an elastic button being moveable between a first unactuated position and a second actuated position, an actuator that is movable between a first position and a second position, and first and second switches. When the elastic button is in the first unactuated position, a resilient dome biases the actuator into the first position, and when the elastic button is moved towards the second actuated position, a force applied to the elastic button is transmitted to the actuator to move the actuator towards the second position, and wherein as the actuator moves towards the second position, the first and second switches are activated.
Fuel economy enhanced transmission manual/hold mode and low mode
A method of controlling an automated manual transmission system having a transmission and a shifter is provided. The shifter includes a Drive Mode, a Low Mode and at least one of a Manual Mode and a Hold Mold. The Drive Mode automatically selects a default gear of the transmission and automatically performs all upshifts and downshifts. The Manual Mode permits an operator to manually select an upshift and a downshift of the transmission. The Hold Mode permits an operator to maintain a current operating gear. Control determines whether the shifter is in one of the Manual Mode and the Hold Mode. Control determines whether a vehicle operating condition is outside of a predetermined threshold. Control operates the transmission in Drive Mode based on the vehicle operating condition being outside of the predetermined threshold irrespective of the shifter being in one of the Low Mode, Manual Mode or Hold Modes.
Speed changing device
A speed changing device includes a control unit (60) that: has a manual mode in which a clutch is engaged and disengaged by operating a clutch lever (4b) and an automatic mode in which the clutch is engaged and disengaged without the clutch lever (4b) being operated and is able to change a setting to the manual mode and the automatic mode; and is configured to signal mode misrecognition when it is determined that mode misrecognition has occurred.
TRANSMISSION FOR VEHICLE
A transmission for a vehicle includes a knob configured to be rotated to select one of a plurality of shift stages; a driving unit for controlling rotation of the knob; and a shift controller for applying an electrical current to generate a torque in the driving unit. The driving unit comprises: a magnetic field generator; a magnetization unit including a plurality of magnetic bodies arranged at regular intervals along a circumference of the magnetic field generator; and a magnet unit including at least one pair of magnetic poles arranged along a circumference of the magnetization unit, wherein the magnetization unit or the magnetization unit is coupled with the knob and rotates integrally with the knob. A first mode allows the rotation of the knob and a second mode prevents the rotation of the knob depending on an intensity of a magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generator.
OPERATING DEVICE FOR A SHIFT BY WIRE ASSEMBLY
An operating device for a shift by wire assembly in an automobile includes a selection apparatus configured to select an operation mode (R, N, D) of the automobile, wherein the selectable operation modes comprise a reverse operation mode (R), a neutral operation mode (N) and a drive operation mode (D), wherein the selection apparatus is further configured to select an autonomous drive operation mode (AD).
METHOD FOR OPERATING A VEHICLE HAVING A DUAL-CLUTCH TRANSMISSION
A method for operating a vehicle having a dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The DCT includes first and second clutches; a first shaft operatively connected to the first clutch, the first clutch being selectively actuated to couple the first shaft to a clutch input member; a second shaft operatively connected to the second clutch, the second clutch being selectively actuated to couple the second shaft to the clutch input member; first and second driving members mounted to the first and second shafts respectively; and an output shaft operatively connecting the first and second driving members to a ground-engaging member of the vehicle. The method includes determining if the vehicle is substantially stationary; and in response to being substantially stationary, actuating the first and second clutches to cause simultaneous driving engagement of both the first and second shafts with the output shaft to thereby lock the output shaft.
