An automatic transmission shifter mechanism that is selectable between an automatic transmission mode and a manual shifting mode, including a shifter assembly configured to move in a first range of movement to be positioned in the automatic transmission mode, and to move in a second range of movement to selectively shift gears up and down in the manual shifting mode, a first sensor configured to sense that the shifter assembly is in the automatic transmission mode in response to the shifter assembly being in the first range of movement, and at least a second sensor configured to sense gear changes in the manual shifting mode, wherein the shifter assembly is configured to be selectively moved laterally from the first range of movement to the second range of movement when in a drive mode in the first range of movement.

Electronic shift control device

An electronic shift control device includes: a shift slider which is movable in a shift direction; a shift body under the shift slider and is movable according to the movement of the shift slider; and a bracket which is arranged under the shift slider and receives the shift body. The shift body includes elastic member receiving grooves and hinge protrusions. A hinge elastic member supporting the shift body is in the elastic member receiving groove. The bracket includes a hinge protrusion recess receiving the hinge protrusion. The shift slider is located at a reference position, and when the shift slider moves from the reference position in the shift direction, the hinge protrusion moves along the hinge protrusion recess, and a shift stage is changed, and the shift slider which has moved in the shift direction returns to the reference position by an elastic restoring force of the hinge elastic member.

Transmission shifter system

A shifter for the transmission of a vehicle is described. The shifter has a shift lever operatively connected to the transmission. A rotatable shaft is connected to the lever. A lateral movement device is operatively connected to the shaft. A cable pin is positioned on the lateral movement device and connected to the shift mechanism for the transmission.

An operating device for a motor vehicle is provided. The device includes at least one selector lever, which can be moved between at least one parking position, as the first position for activating a parking lock of an automatic transmission, and at least one second position that is different to the parking position. The device includes at least two operating parts which are retained on a base element of the selector lever that can move between the positions, and which can be moved towards one another out of a deactivation position into an activation position, in order to thereby bring about a starting of a drive device of the motor vehicle, as well as a blocking device which is designed to block the operating parts in the activation position, and to bring about a movement of the operating parts out of the activation position into the deactivation position as a result of a movement of the selector lever out of the second position into the parking position.

SHIFT DEVICE

A shift device in which a press-fit column of a control lever is press-fitted into and passed through a press-fit hole in a boot such that the boot forms a seal between the upper side and the lower side of the press-fit hole. A press-fit interference amount between the press-fit column and the press-fit hole is larger at a length direction intermediate side of the press-fit hole than at a length direction end portion side of the press-fit hole. This enables a reduction in the contact force between the press-fit column and a peripheral face of the press-fit hole at the length direction intermediate side of the press-fit hole to be suppressed, enabling the sealing performance of the press-fit hole in the boot to be improved.

A shift device includes a shift main body, an operation body, a resilient engaging member and a restricting portion. The shift main body structures a shift body, which is moved to change a shift position. A first engaging portion is provided at the shift main body. The operation body structures the shift body, and is operated to move the shift body. A second engaging portion is provided at the operation body. The engaging member engages with the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion and restricts detachment of the operation body from the shift main body. When the engaging member is pushed, the engaging member deforms and releases the engagement with the first engaging portion or the second engaging portion. The restricting portion restricts pushing of the engaging member after the engagement of the engaging member with the first engaging portion or second engaging portion has been released.
