Vehicle automatic transmission device, and vehicle including the same
An automatic transmission device for a vehicle driven by transmitting a torque of an engine to driving wheels includes a clutch provided in a torque transmission system extending from the engine to the driving wheels, a transmission located between the clutch and the driving wheels in the torque transmission system, and a transmission controller. The transmission controller is configured or programmed to perform a torque feedback-control to bring the clutch into a sliding state in response to issue of a shift command and feedback-control a transmission torque to a target torque, disengage the clutch after the torque feedback-control, change a shift stage of the transmission according to the shift command after disengaging the clutch, and engage the clutch after changing the shift stage.
VEHICLE GEAR-SHIFTING CONTROL APPARATUS
A vehicle gear-shifting control apparatus is equipped with an engine, an automatic transmission, and a controller which changes a shift stage by outputting a gear-shifting signal in accordance with the rotation speed of an input shaft to the automatic transmission. The controller executes a torque-regulating control of temporarily increasing or decreasing an input torque input to the input shaft during a shift-change, and when executing the control, determines whether or not a target increase/decrease amount of the input torque can be realized based on calculation results of a target output torque and a target gear-shifting time, executes the control to realize the target amount when it is determined that the target amount can be realized, and executes the control based on an allowable gear-shifting time set in advance to be longer than the target gear-shifting time when it is determined that the target amount cannot be realized.
GEAR SHIFT ACTUATION SIMPLIFICATION
A transmission is subject to gear shift management that provides for shifting gears in a controlled manner in order to provide for a simplification of part and reduction in system complexity. In particular, a range synchronizer component can be replaced with a simplified range jaw clutch, without incurring a requirement for an installation of other components such as a motor generator or starter-generator.
CONTROL DEVICE
When a control device allows a shift speed formed by a transmission to transition from a pre-shift shift speed to a post-shift shift speed by performing engagement of an engagement-side engagement device and disengagement of a disengagement-side engagement device, the control device allows a torque phase in which a torque-sharing ratio between the engagement-side engagement device and the disengagement-side engagement device changes to proceed by performing engagement control in which transmission torque of the engagement-side engagement device is allowed to gradually increase. During proceeding of the torque phase, the control device controls output torque of a rotating electrical machine such that a rotational speed of an input member approaches a target rotational speed determined based on a pre-shift synchronous rotational speed.
Apparatus for controlling gear shift of vehicle and method thereof
An apparatus of controlling a gear shifting of a vehicle, and a method thereof, to improving shift quality by minimizing the jerk generated in a shifting process of the vehicle, includes storage that stores a Gaussian process (GP) model on which machine learning is completed, and a controller that detects a change amount of engine torque and a change amount of an engagement-side clutch torque based on the GP model, and controls the gear shifting of the vehicle according to the change amount of the engine torque and the change amount of the engagement-side clutch torque.
VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM
A control system (32, 33) for a vehicle (10), the control system (32, 33) comprising one or more controllers, the control system (32, 33) being configured to: receive a transmission speed signal that is indicative of an output speed of a transmission (24) of the vehicle (10) as the transmission (24) performs a gearshift; receive a driver demand signal that is indicative of a driver demand for acceleration of the vehicle (10) during the gearshift; and determine a torque demand signal for an engine (20) of the vehicle (10) in accordance with the transmission speed signal and the driver demand signal.
Gearbox torque sensor
A system and method of measuring torque generated by a drive train like that used in a rotating equipment drive. A drive motor is mounted to a rotatable brake assembly which, in turn, is coupled to a gear drive which, in turn, transmits rotational power. The brake assembly is coupled to a fixed cover of the gear drive by a gearbox torque sensor that prevents rotation between the brake assembly and the housing. The sensor can be a load cell or its equivalent. A control module may be configured to adjust operation of the rotating equipment drive in response to the torque signal. All input torque from the drive motor to the gearbox is measured when the brake is disengaged through the load cell. All input torque at the gearbox output shaft, through back-driving, is measured when the brake is engaged through the load cell.
Method and control unit for operating a transmission of a motor vehicle
A method for operating a transmission (2) of a motor vehicle includes, in order to trigger a gear shift in the transmission (2), determining a trigger speed depending on a response time of the gear shift to be implemented, depending on a gradient of a motor vehicle-side rotational speed, and depending on a maximum permissible limit speed for the motor vehicle-side rotational speed. The gear shift to be implemented triggered on a control side as function of the trigger speed such that the motor vehicle-side rotational speed does not exceed the maximum permissible limit speed during the implementation of the gear shift. The method also include adapting the trigger speed.
Method of determining at least one shift parameter of a vehicle transmission
The present disclosure relates to a method for determining at least one shift parameter of a vehicle transmission (3), the vehicle transmission (3) comprising a first clutching device (8a) and a first speed ratio (9a); a second clutching device (8b) and a second speed ratio (9b); an input; and an output, wherein the input and the output of the transmission are connectable by the engaging first clutching device (8a) or the second clutching device (8b). The method comprises the steps: performing a shift by disengaging the first clutching device (8a) and/or engaging the second clutching device (8b), wherein the first clutching device (8a) stops transferring torque through the transmission at a first time point, wherein the second clutching device (8b) starts transferring torque through the transmission at a second time point, and determining the shift parameter at the first time point and/or at the second time point.
