CONTROL APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE DRIVE-FORCE TRANSMITTING APPARATUS
A control apparatus for a vehicle drive-force transmitting apparatus which defines a first drive-force transmitting path provided with a first clutch and a two-way clutch and a second drive-force transmitting path provided with a continuously variable transmission and a second clutch. The control apparatus switches the two-way clutch from its lock mode to its one-way mode, when the second drive-force transmitting path is to be established in place of the first drive-force transmitting path. The drive-force transmitting apparatus includes a hydraulic actuator configured to control switching of the two-way clutch between the lock mode and the one-way mode. When a request for establishing the second drive-force transmitting path in place of the first drive-force transmitting path is made during forward running of the vehicle with the two-way clutch being in the lock mode, the control apparatus executes a dither control for fluctuating a hydraulic pressure applied to the hydraulic actuator.
Clutched flywheel transmission
An energy storage and recovery system device for a vehicle, comprising a flywheel, a first and a second set of gears, and multiple wet multi-plate clutches, wherein one of each gear set is arranged coaxially along a clutch shaft with one of the clutches, and wherein the device is coupled to the vehicle transmission, such that actuation of a clutch redirected the torque path via the gears, thereby enabling multiple ratios and therefore multiple speeds.
Vehicle control apparatus
A control apparatus for a vehicle provided with a step-variable transmission including a one-way clutch to be placed in an engaged state to establish a predetermined one of gear positions of the step-variable transmission, and a coupling device disposed parallel with the one-way clutch, includes a control portion configured to control a shift-up action of the step-variable transmission from the above-indicated predetermined one gear position in which the coupling device is placed in its engaged state, the control portion controlling the shift-up action so as to delay a releasing action of the coupling device where a required torque of the vehicle prior to a moment of initiation of an inertia phase of the shift-up action is larger than a predetermined value, with respect to the releasing action where the required torque is not larger than the predetermined value.
Control apparatus
A control apparatus of an automatic transmission, which includes a mechanical engaging mechanism functioning as a brake, includes a determination unit determining, when a selected gear is a lowest forward speed gear, and the mechanism is in a second state, whether to switch the mechanism to the first state, and a switching processing unit switching the mechanism to the first state based on a determination result. In the first state, only rotation of a predetermined rotational element provided in planetary gear mechanisms in a first direction is restricted. In the second state, rotation of the predetermined rotational element in both the first and second direction is restricted. The determination unit determines to switch the mechanism to the first state at least on condition that a driving force is larger than a predetermined driving force.
TWO SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH A FRICTION AND DYNAMICALLY CONTROLLABLE ONE WAY CLUTCH FOR POWER SHIFTING IN AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A transmission system for a vehicle, comprising a dynamic controllable clutch (DCC) and a friction clutch. The transmission system may further comprise a controller comprising instructions stored in non-transitory memory that are executable by the controller to adjust a state of the DCC and a state of the friction clutch to selectively engage a first gear ratio and a second gear ratio for providing torque transfer from an input to an output of the transmission system.
Actuator and fluid pressure control circuit having the same
An actuator capable of preventing the inside of a cylinder from being scratched is provided. A two-way piston includes a cylinder having an opening, a piston, and a stroke sensor that detects a position of the piston. The stroke sensor includes a stay that extends from a portion exposed from the opening of the piston to the outside of the cylinder, a member to be detected that is attached to the stay, and a sensor that detects a position of the member to be detected. The piston including a fixing hole having a depth smaller than a diameter of the piston in the portion exposed from the opening. The stay is fixed by a bolt that is inserted into the fixing hole.

Automatic transmission
Provided is an automatic transmission with which a large impact is hardly applied to the component of the switching mechanism or the switching control circuit when the drive source is re-driven. When a drive source ENG is determined to be in the stopped state, if the position of a slider HC1 does not correspond to the position the control part ECU instructed before the drive source ENG is determined to be in the stopped state, the control part ECU of the automatic transmission TM transmits a signal for switching a two-way clutch TW to a state corresponding to the state of a slider HC1.
