A transmission includes an input shaft that couples to a prime mover, twin countershafts and a main shaft having gears coupled thereon, an output shaft that selectively provides a torque output to a driveline, a first shift actuator that selectively couples the input shaft to the main shaft. The transmission includes a second shift actuator that couples the main shaft to the output shaft with a selected reduction ratio, and a controller including a vehicle state circuit that interprets at least one vehicle operating condition, and a neutral enforcement circuit that provides a first neutral command to the first shift actuator and a second neutral command to the second shift actuator, in response to the at least one vehicle operating condition indicating that vehicle motion is not intended.

The automatic transmission can be operated in a cost-effective manner, particularly with reduced component wear and increased service life, and/or the driving comfort of the vehicle can be improved such that when lifting of at least one driven vehicle wheel off the roadway during braking is detected by the operating method, then for the length of said braking process, in the event of an incomplete gear change into a gear of the transmission, the engagement of a gear is prevented and/or the beginning of a gear change into a gear of the transmission is prevented.
WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle includes a traveling clutch to be switched between an engaging state and a disengaging state, a brake to brake the traveling device according to an operation of a brake operator, and a controller to perform a braking control to perform the braking, and an auto-switching controller to switch the traveling clutch from the engaging state to the disengaging state. The controller performs a first processing to switch the traveling clutch from the engaging state to the disengaging state when the brake operator is operated in a case where the auto-switching control is valid and a vehicle speed is less than a threshold, and a second processing to prevent the traveling clutch from being switched from the engaging state to the disengaging state even when the brake operator is operated in a case where the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than the threshold.

Disclosed is a forced neutral return device for an automated manual transmission forcibly operating a shift cylinder of a pneumatic pressure actuator for the automated manual transmission to return shift neutral position including an air injection passage forcibly injecting outside air into the inside of the shift cylinder and a valve assembly for opening and closing the air injection passage. It is possible to easily return neutral position when the neutral of the automated manual transmission is required.
