Method for controlling an electromechanical interface device
A method of controlling an electromechanical interface includes commanding, by a controller, a motor to provide an operating torque on a selector, wherein the operating torque is based on a position of the selector relative to first and second positions, and commanding, by the controller, the motor to provide a detent torque on the selector at approximately the first position and at approximately the second position, wherein the detent torque is only applied over a first time period.
ROTARY SWITCH WITH PROGRAMMABLE END-STOPS AND VARIABLE TACTILE FEEDBACK
Improved rotary switch systems and methods are disclosed. Such systems and methods may be used in vehicles that implement shift-by-wire transmission systems. The switch systems and methods may include programmable end-stops and/or variable tactile feedback.

Device and method for driving shift lever
Disclosed are device and method for driving a shift lever. The device may include a control unit that sets a travel distance of the shift lever when the shift lever is manipulated to a predetermined shift stage to be different than a reference travel distance of the shift lever, which is a travel distance of the shift lever when the shift lever is manipulated to shift stages other than the predetermined shift stage. The device may further include a driving unit which restricts a travel of the shift lever or moves the shift lever depending on a setting of the control unit.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING A MOVEMENT OF AN OPERATING ELEMENT FOR A VEHICLE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND SHIFTING DEVICE FOR SHIFTING A VEHICLE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
The disclosure provides a device for regulating a movement of an operating element for an automatic transmission of a vehicle. The device comprises a rotatable shaft and a bearing element for bearing the operating element. The bearing element can be moved together with the operating element relatively to the shaft with respect to a first axis of movement and between a rest position and a deflection position with respect to a second axis of movement. The device is characterized in that on the shaft are arranged a locking element for locking the movement of the bearing element from the rest position to the deflection position and/or a resetting element for resetting the bearing element from the deflection position to the rest position.
GEAR STAGE SELECTION DEVICE FOR SELECTING GEAR STAGES OF A MOTOR VEHICLE TRANSMISSION
A gear stage selection device for selecting gear stages of a motor vehicle transmission. The device includes a shaft, an axially displaceable slider apparatus, and a selection lever. The selection lever is coupled to the shaft and the slider apparatus in such a way that, in the case of a forward movement of the selection lever or in the case of a reverse movement of the selection lever, the shaft is twisted. In the case of a left movement of the selection lever or a right movement of the selection lever, the slider apparatus is axially displaced. A rotation angle sensor detects a rotation angle of the shaft. A position sensor detects an axial position of the slider apparatus. A blocking apparatus by way of which an axial displacement of the slider apparatus can be selectively mechanically blocked and released.
