A shifter assembly is used for selecting one of a plurality of gears of a transmission for a vehicle. The assembly includes a housing defining a shift pattern having first and second gates defining first and second shift positions, respectively. A lever is selectively movable into and out of the first and second shift positions within each of the first and second gates. A blocking system is transitionable between a first state which opens the first gate and closes at least a portion of the second gate and a second state which opens the second gate and closes at least a portion of the first gate. A knob is coupled to the lever and is rotatable between first and second positions and communicates with the blocking system to cause the transition of the blocking system between the first and second states when in the first and second positions, respectively.

Electronic shifter with tactile feedback

An electronic gear shifter is described herein that provides tactile feedback imitating the tactile feedback generated by a manual transmission shifter. The shifter includes a tactile feedback mechanism having a base, a pivot through the base, one or more springs coupled to the base, and first and second detents. The base rotates about the pivot, whereas the springs resist rotations of the base from, and return the base to, and equilibrium position. The first detent resists rotation of the base from the equilibrium position. The second detent resists further rotation of the base past the first detent and away from the equilibrium position. Rotation of the base past the first and second detents imitates manual transmission tactile feedback, and rotation of the base past the second detent also closes one or more of the electronic switches.

In a shift lever device, a gate pin of a lever is guided by a gate groove of a gate plate, and a detent pin of the lever is abutted on a detent face of a detent block due to an urging force. A sensor mechanism detects a shift position of the lever. The gate plate, the detent block, and the sensor mechanism are disposed at a lower side of the lever, the gate plate and the detent block are disposed at a rear side of the lever, and the sensor mechanism is disposed at a front side of the gate plate and the detent block. This thereby enables a reduction in size of the shift lever device in an up-down direction.

In a shift lever device, a lever moves an operation member when the lever is rotationally operated in a front-rear direction, and the lever rotates a select link such that the select link moves the operation member when the lever is rotation operated in a left-right direction. The position of the operation member is detected to detect a shift position of the lever. When the lever is rotation operated in the front-rear direction, the lever therefore moves the operation member without being through the select link, thereby enabling the precision with which the shift position of the lever in the front-rear direction is detected to be raised.

A mechanical creeper mode selection system for a transmission of a work vehicle is provided, in which the transmission includes one or more range modes having one or more range mode shift mechanisms each driven by an electrohydraulic circuit. The system includes a creeper mode selection lever movable by an operator to select a creeper gear range. The system also includes a sensor that observes a position of the creeper mode selection lever and generates sensor signals based thereon. The system includes a controller that processes the sensor data to determine a movement of the creeper mode selection lever and outputs one or more control signals to the electrohydraulic circuit to position the one or more range mode shift mechanisms in a range neutral mode based on the movement of the creeper mode selection lever.
