GEAR SHIFT DEVICE FOR MOTOR VEHICLES
A gear shift device (100) includes a hollow, at least partially spherical retaining housing (110), a gear shift lever (120) having an at least partially spherical projection (130) received within the retaining housing (110), and means (140) for retaining the gear shift lever (120) against rotation around its longitudinal axis (125). The retaining means (140) includes at least one of grooves (150) and protrusions (160) for engaging at least one of corresponding grooves (150) and protrusions formed in the at least partially spherical projection (130) of the gear shift lever (120), said grooves (150, 150) and protrusions (160) being formed in the shape of two opposite cones.
GEAR SELECTOR
A gear selector comprising a gate pattern and a gear lever arranged to be moveable within the gate pattern, the gate pattern comprising: a high range gate sub-pattern comprising one or more high range gear planes for moving the gear lever into to select a high range gear; a low range gate sub-pattern comprising one or more low range gear planes for moving the gear lever into to select a low range gear; a neutral plane extending transversely with respect to the high and low range gear planes; and a force profile arranged to urge the gear lever when in the neutral plane toward a resting position in one of the one or more high range gear planes, the force profile comprising a first interference arranged to divide the high range gate sub-pattern from the low range gate sub-pattern, wherein the gear lever is moveable past the first interference from the high range gate sub-pattern to the low range gate sub-pattern when a first predefined action is performed by an operator moving the gear lever.
VEHICLE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY
A shift lever assembly may include a shift lever movable about a pivot axis to permit changing a transmission mode, and a sensor element coupled to the shift lever for movement with the shift lever when the shift lever is moved to cause a transmission mode change. The sensor element is movable relative to the shift lever during at least a portion of the movement of the shift lever. This may permit the sensor element to remain at a relatively consistent distance from the sensor, where that distance is measured perpendicular to the sensor, over the path of movement of the sensor element.
ACTUATING APPARATUS FOR SELECTING GEARS FOR A GEAR CHANGE TRANSMISSION AND METHOD FOR BLOCKING AN ACTUATING APPARATUS
An actuating device for selecting gears for a change gear transmission, in particular for an automatic transmission with shift-by-wire actuation, wherein a selector lever of the actuating device is movable in a main shift track and a touch-shift track and between the main shift track and the touch-shift track in a changing track, wherein the actuating device comprises a latch mechanism acting on the selector lever, characterized by a locking device comprising a locking gate, an actuator and a locking bolt guided through the actuator, wherein the locking gate comprises at least one locking recess, wherein at one position of the selector lever within the main shift track the locking bolt is movable by the actuator and the locking bolt is configured to engage in the locking recess, wherein the locking device comprises a spring, wherein a holding force caused by the spring is greater than a restoring force of the latch mechanism of the actuating device acting from a position of the selector lever in the touch-shift track to a position in the main shift track, and wherein the spring is configured to act against a movement of the selector lever from the touch-shift track to the main shift track, when the selector lever is positioned in the touch-shift track.
Apparatus for controlling transmission
An apparatus for controlling a transmission using a button and a knob includes a first shift part that receives a selection command of a first shift range by a linear motion, a second shift part that receives a selection command of a second shift range by a rotational motion, and a substrate that transmits a shift control signal corresponding to the selection command inputted via either the first shift part or the second shift part. Each of the first shift part and the second shift part includes a contact part configured to contact the substrate while linearly moving in response to the first shift part or the second shift part being activated.
