A range-change transmission device, which is a splitter transmission, includes an input shaft, an output shaft, a countershaft, at least one planetary gear set, and a torque adjustment device. A first transmission element of the planetary gear set is arranged coaxially to the output shaft. A second transmission element of the planetary gear set is or can be directly coupled to the countershaft. A third transmission element of the planetary gear set is permanently coupled to the input shaft in a rotationally fixed manner. The countershaft is or can be coupled to the torque adjustment device. The range-change transmission device has a first switching unit, which is provided to couple the countershaft to the output shaft.

Disclosed is a method for operating a multi-speed vehicle transmission having a plurality of shift elements (A, B, C, D, E) for engaging the gears of the vehicle transmission. The method includes decoupling between an input (AN) and an output (AB) of the vehicle transmission in a neutral gear, and coupling the input (AN) and the output (AB) of the vehicle transmission in a drive gear for propelling the vehicle by closing at least one shift element (B). At least one transmission state is determined when the neutral gear is engaged, where a shift element (D) for a reverse gear of the vehicle transmission is closed at least partially if the transmission is in a state with increased drag losses when the neutral gear is engaged.

A hybrid transmission (10) for a motor vehicle with an internal combustion engine (VM) and an electric prime mover (EM1) is provided. The hybrid transmission (10) includes a first transmission input shaft (14) for a first sub-transmission, a second transmission input shaft (16) for a second sub-transmission, at least one countershaft (18), multiple gear change devices (A-F) for engaging gear steps (E1, E2, 1, 2, 3, 4), and idler gears and fixed gears arranged in multiple gear set planes for forming the gear steps. A portion of the gear steps are engageable for the internal combustion engine, and a portion of the gear steps are engageable for the electric prime mover. At least one of the gear steps is engageable for the internal combustion engine and for the electric prime mover regardless of the gear step engaged for the particular other machine.

The sun gear (4) of the first planetary gear set (2) is coupleable to a carrier (6) of the first planetary gear set (2) via a second form-fit shift element (B) while providing a direct drive at the first planetary gear set (2).

The clutch assembly includes a clutch hub, a first clutch sleeve, and a second clutch sleeve. The first clutch sleeve is axially movable relative to the clutch hub to selectively engage a first component of a planetary gear assembly. The second clutch sleeve is axially movable relative to the clutch hub to selectively engage a second component of the planetary gear assembly. The planetary gear assembly includes a plurality of planet gears and a planet carrier. Each of the plurality of planet gears is supported in a rotatable manner by the planet carrier. In some embodiments, the first component of the planetary gear assembly is a first sun gear that engages each of the plurality of planet gears.

The third shaft is fixedly disposed on a transmission housing, and any two shafts among the first, second and third shafts restrain each other.
