PRESSURE VESSEL CLOSURE
20170314680 · 2017-11-02 ·

A closure for a pressure vessel that includes a neck with a groove defined in the inner diameter, and a door assembly that pivots between opened and closed positions. The door assembly includes a door portion sized to be received in an opening of the neck, a guide plate connected to the door portion and rotatable between locked and unlocked positions, a first lock ring segment positioned radially outwardly of the guide plate and a handle. The guide plate includes a first cam path defined therein that receives a cam member of a first lug assembly that extends inwardly from the first lock ring segment. Rotation of the handle (and guide plate) from the unlocked to the locked position moves the first lock ring segment from a locked to an unlocked position. In the locked position, the first lock ring segment is received in the groove of the neck.

Barrier densified fluid cleaning system

A densified fluid barrier cleaning system is disclosed in which a pressure vessel encases a movable basket positioned so as to cross a barrier such that one opening of the pressure vessel resides in a first environment and a second opening of the pressure vessel resides in a second environment. A tubular basket within the pressure vessel is positioned such that its central longitudinal axis is aligned with both the first and second opening of the pressure vessel. Responsive to the successful completion of a cleaning cycle, soiled articles that are introduced to the basket via the first opening from the first environment can be removed through the second opening and into the second environment thus bridging the barrier without fear of introducing contaminants from the first environment to second environment.

Sealing ring for container

A high pressure vessel sealing ring formed by an annular body made up of at least two parts, a polymer gasket and a sealing gasket, wherein the ring is in contact with the surface of a high pressure lid and with the surface of a vessel and includes at least a first part coupled by means of a mechanical stop to a second part which is concentric to the first part, where the radius of the second part is of the same or different size with respect to the radius of the first part.

A container for exchanging fluids in a vehicle using a pressurized air service or a vacuum service has a tank for holding a new fluid that is used to replace the old fluid that is in the vehicle. The container has a cap at the tank's top end, and an outlet port extends through the cap. A process tube connects to the outlet port at its proximal end, and a float valve assembly with a ball float connects to the process tube's distal end. The float valve assembly's base is positioned at the bottom of the tank when the tank is sealed and is spaced away from the bottom when the tank is unsealed. The base has an entrance port, an exit port, and an internal passageway therebetween, and the ball float moves between an open configuration spaced from the entrance port and a closed configuration covering the entrance port.

Self-locking plug

A fluid end, includes a plunger reciprocating within a first bore, the plunger increasing a pressure of a fluid within a pressure chamber. The fluid end also includes a second bore. The fluid end further includes a plug assembly associated with the second bore. The plug assembly includes a plug body positioned within the second bore. The plug assembly also includes a lock ring positioned, at least in part, within the second bore, the lock ring positioned to be driven radially outward responsive to a longitudinal force applied to the plug body.
