A pin assembly includes a plurality of pins and a plurality of seals. The plurality of seals are separate from one another and are each formed from an elastically deformable material. The seals are each disposed on one of the pins and are each retained on the one of the pins by interaction of the elastically deformable material with the one of the pins.

There is provided an electrolyte measuring device that can decrease a liquid amount used for measurement, in which stable sealing can be provided in connecting passages of ion selective electrodes to each other with no gap, while maintaining high measurement accuracy of an existing ion selective electrode, and a residing sample liquid can be greatly decreased. In a flow-type ion selective electrode, a sealing member is used, which can be brought into intimate contact with a passage connecting unit to near a passage hole. A gap regulating member is provided to keep a gap between the electrodes constant and to prevent the sealing member from being excessively pressed. An electrode case has a structure suitable for the sealing member for allowing the alignment and holding of the sealing member.

The present disclosure relates to an aerosol delivery device that includes a reservoir housing that defines a mouthpiece channel. The aerosol delivery device includes a sealing member configured to be received within the reservoir housing to define a reservoir chamber configured to retain an aerosol precursor composition therein. The aerosol delivery device also includes a substrate member that is configured to be received within the reservoir housing and to be directly engaged with a vaporizing assembly for forming an aerosol. The reservoir housing, sealing member, substrate member, and/or vaporizing assembly can be used for forming aerosols with precise and reproducible compositions.

PIPE CONNECTOR
An apparatus for connecting two pipes in fluid communication includes a connector body having opposing open ends, with each open end configured for receiving a free end of a pipe, and a mechanical interlock arrangement for preventing or limiting axial movement of the connector body relative to a free end of a pipe when the free end of the pipe is received in an open end of the connector body. A mechanical seal arrangement provides a metal-to-metal seal between a pipe inserted into one of the open ends and the connector body.
System and method for sealing a fluid system in a safety condition
A system comprises a pipe defining a fluid passage, the pipe having a first rate of thermal expansion. A housing defines an opening for receiving an end of the pipe for fluid circulation between the fluid passage and an interior of the housing, the housing having a second rate of thermal expansion lesser than the first rate of thermal expansion, at least one annular gap defined between a periphery of the opening and the end of the pipe when the system is below a safety condition threshold temperature. Seal(s) seal the annular gap, wherein the pipe and the housing are configured and the first and second rates of thermal expansion are selected so that, when the system exceeds the safety condition threshold temperature, the end of the pipe contacts the periphery of the opening by thermal expansion to seal the annular gap independent of the at least one seal.
Pipe connector
An apparatus for connecting two pipes in fluid communication is provided. The apparatus comprises a connector body having opposing open ends, each open end configured for receiving a free end of a pipe; a mechanical interlock arrangement, for preventing or limiting axial movement of the connector body relative to a free end of a pipe when the free end of the pipe is received in an open end of the connector body; and a mechanical seal arrangement for providing a metal-to-metal seal between a pipe inserted into one of said open ends and the connector body.

Sealing element
A sealing element of flexible foam which includes at least three sealing tape sections which are arranged next to each other in a functional direction of the sealing element. At least one first barrier layer section and at least one second barrier layer section are each accommodated between two adjacent sealing tape sections. The barrier layer sections connect the adjacent sealing tape sections to each other. The first barrier layer section forms a loop in an area of the bottom surface of the sealing element and the second barrier layer section forms a loop in an area of the top surface of the sealing element.
GATE VALVE SEALING RING FLOW GUIDE
