Seal arrangement with low drag seal gland

A seal arrangement is provided having a first part with a seal gland, and a seal located in the seal gland. The seal has an outer sealing surface and an inner support surface that is supported on a bottom support surface of the seal gland. A second part having a sealing surface is provided against which the outer sealing surface of the seal is pressed. A relief area is formed in a portion of the bottom support surface of the seal gland, with the relief area being configured to receive a resiliently deflected portion of the inner support surface of the seal during assembly. A method of assembling a sealing arrangement is also provided.

PACKING ASSEMBLY WITH THREADED SLEEVE FOR INTERACTION WITH AN INSTALLATION TOOL

A packing assembly includes a packing sleeve having a first sleeve portion and a second sleeve portion, wherein a first sleeve portion outer diameter is larger than a second sleeve portion outer diameter and a first sleeve portion inner diameter is larger than a second sleeve portion inner diameter. The packing assembly also includes a groove formed in the second sleeve portion outer diameter. The packing assembly further includes a shoulder formed at a transition between the first sleeve portion and the second sleeve portion. The packing assembly includes a shelf formed at the transition between the first sleeve portion and the second sleeve portion. The packing assembly also includes a plurality of packing components arranged within the first sleeve portion inner diameter, at least a portion of the plurality of packing components engaging the shelf. The packing assembly further includes a seal positioned within the groove.

FLUID END WITH CLAMPED RETENTION

A fluid end assembly comprising a plurality of fluid end sections positioned in a side-by-side relationship. Each section comprises a housing containing a reciprocating plunger. One and only one packing seal is installed within the housing and surrounds and engages an outer surface of the plunger. A retainer compresses and holds the packing seal within the housing. The retainer is secured to the housing using a clamp, such that no threads are formed in the housing of the fluid end section and no threads are formed in the retainer.

Metal end cap seal

A metal end cap seal including metal end caps bonded to a central elastomer component is provided. In one embodiment, a metal end cap seal includes two metal end caps and a central elastomer component. The central elastomer component can be bonded to the metal end caps. The elastomer can include FFKM. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

Proposed is a seal for a pressurized water jet apparatus which includes a housing, a connector through which pressurized water is introduced, a rotary body exposed in a direction in which the pressurized water inside the housing is discharged, a rotary support for supporting the rotary body, a nozzle connected to an end of the rotary body, a shaft, a bushing, and a seal coupled to the outer circumferential surface of the shaft and having a surface in contact with the bushing, wherein the seal includes an outer seal provided with a through hole having a tapered portion inclined so that the inner diameter thereof is expanded in the direction in which the pressurized water is discharged, and an inner seal inserted in the tapered portion of the outer seal and having the same inner diameter as that of the through hole of the outer seal.
