A valve packing having independently loaded packing rings is disclosed. A packing assembly for a fluid valve includes a first packing ring, a first follower to be disposed at least partially within a bore of a bonnet of the fluid valve to apply a first load to the first packing ring, a second packing ring sized to fit within a bore of the first follower, and a second follower to be disposed at least partially within the bore of the first follower to apply a second load to the second packing ring within the bore of the first follower.

The seal holding member includes a seal accommodating portion being configured to accommodate the seal member, and an insertion hole through which a piston rod is inserted. The seal member is pressed against an outer circumferential surface of the piston rod and the seal accommodating portion by working-fluid pressure in the extension-side chamber. And the bearing is provided such that a first end surface of the bearing facing the seal member matches an aperture plane of a through hole of the bearing holding member or such that the first end surface of the bearing projects out from the aperture plane of the through hole.

PRESSURE EQUILIBRATING SEALING SYSTEM

A sealing system includes: a first seal including at least one first seal lip sealing against a first surface and a second surface and having a first cavity filled with a first energizer forcing the at least one first seal lip against the first surface and the second surface, the first cavity facing a first pressure region; and a second seal spaced from the first seal and having at least one second seal lip sealing against the first surface and the second surface, the second seal including a second cavity filled with a second energizer forcing the at least one second seal lip against the first surface and the second surface to separate a second pressure region from a third pressure region. The at least one second seal lip is configured to deform such that fluid pressures in the first, second, and third pressure regions equalize.

Provided is a seal ring configured so that stable lubrication performance can be provided across a wide range of rotation speed. A seal ring for sealing a clearance between a rotary shaft and a housing includes; inclined grooves formed at a sliding surface so as to be arranged in a circumferential direction, the inclined grooves being closed on an outer diameter side thereof and configured to generate a dynamic pressure; and supply grooves opening on a sealed fluid side and communicating with an inner diameter side of the inclined grooves.
