A seal ring for sealing a clearance between a rotary shaft and a housing includes; inclined grooves formed at a sliding surface so as to be arranged in a circumferential direction, the inclined grooves being closed on an outer diameter side thereof and configured to generate a dynamic pressure; and supply grooves opening on a sealed fluid side and communicating with an inner diameter side of the inclined grooves.
PUMP ARRANGEMENT FOR PUMPING BARRIER LIQUID AND A MECHANICAL SHAFT SEAL
A pump arrangement for pumping barrier liquid in a sealed space of a mechanical shaft seal includes a housing assemblable in connection with a rotatable shaft of a device to be sealed by the mechanical shaft seal. The housing includes a pumping element, which is configured to be in force transmission connection with the rotatable shaft to provide power to operate the pumping element when in use.
SEALING ASSEMBLY FOR BEARINGS, IN PARTICULAR FOR USE IN AGRICULTURE
A sealing assembly for bearings, in particular for use in agriculture, comprising a primary sealing barrier and a secondary sealing barrier, which are arranged in series along a potential path (P) of ingress of contaminants into the bearing, and have, respectively, a first seal and a second seal with a plurality of contact lips. The contact lips of the first and second seal with a plurality of contact lips may be static lips that do not rotate about an axis (A) of rotation of the bearing.
SEAL ASSEMBLY FOR ROTATABLE SHAFT HAVING VENTILATED DUST SEAL WITH DEBRIS-BLOCKING FILTER
A seal assembly for a rotatable shaft assembly includes a seal housing and each of a main seal and a dust seal extending circumferentially around a seal housing center axis. The dust seal includes a radially inward dust seal lip, and is formed by a sealing layer having a plurality of ventilation openings formed therein, and a debris-blocking filter layer attached to the sealing layer and positioned across the ventilation openings. The main seal and dust seal assist in maintaining lubricating oil within a seal cavity. The dust seal prevents entry of debris whilst ventilating the seal cavity to limit carbonization of oil on seal assembly components. In an implementation the seal assembly is part of a rotatable crankshaft assembly.
SHAFT SEALING ARRANGEMENT
A shaft sealing arrangement includes a first seal and a second seal, wherein the first seal is designed in the form of a lip seal and the second seal is designed in the form of a mechanical seal. When the shaft is at a standstill, the lip seal performs the sealing action and, when the shaft is rotating, the mechanical seal performs the sealing action.
SLIDE RING SEAL ASSEMBLY WHICH CAN BE AXIALLY MOUNTED
The invention relates to a mechanical seal arrangement comprising a first slide ring seal (2) having a rotating slide ring (21) and a stationary slide ring (22) defining a sealing gap (23) therebetween, a shaft sleeve (4), a driver (5) which connects the shaft sleeve (4) to the rotating slide ring (21) and which is arranged to transmit rotation of the shaft sleeve (4) to the rotating slide ring (21) a connecting arrangement (6) for connecting the shaft sleeve (4) to the driver (5), the connecting arrangement (6) comprising at least two rotary locks (60) and at least two recesses (40) in the shaft sleeve (4), wherein each of the rotary locks (60) has a bearing portion (61) and a locking portion (62), wherein the locking portion (62) laterally projects beyond the bearing portion (61), and wherein a rotational axis (Y-Y) of each rotary lock (60) is parallel to a central axis (X-X) of the shaft sleeve (4).
Torque resistant seal
A torque-resistant dual face seal includes a seal ring having an L-shaped cross-section including an axially-extending flange and a radially-extending flange, the seal ring including an annular seal face and an opposing loading surface. The seal ring includes a plurality of deformations formed in a spaced apart arrangement circumferentially around the axially-extending flange. An axial cross-section through the axially-extending flange and intersecting one of the plurality of deformations includes a stepped geometry. The plurality of deformations allows a load ring to squeeze into the plurality of deformations to increase a surface area contact between the seal ring and the load ring.
CARTRIDGE TYPE MECHANICAL SEALING DEVICE FOR SEALING LIQUID
The present application discloses a cartridge type mechanical sealing device for sealing liquid, the sealing device including a gland, a rotating ring adaptor assembly, a rotating ring, a stationary ring adaptor, a stationary ring, and a locking ring mounted around a rotating shaft. The gland is configured to be fastened to a rear end surface of the equipment enclosure; the rotating ring adaptor assembly including a front end portion configured to be in the liquid and supporting the rotating ring and a rear end portion extending through the gland to be surrounded by the locking assembly which is configured to fasten the rotating ring adaptor assembly to the rotating shaft; the stationary ring adaptor is fastened to a rear end surface of the gland; and when the stationary ring adaptor is released from the gland, a rotating ring adaptor of the rotating ring adaptor assembly or the stationary ring adaptor can be pulled along the rotating ring in a direction away from the liquid so as to be separated from the gland, thereby separating the rotating ring and the stationary ring to release the sealing interface and exposing the rotating ring and the stationary ring to the outside air respectively and providing for in-line maintenance and a reduction of possible leakage points.
Pump assembly, in particular for supplying a slide ring seal assembly
The invention relates to a pump assembly, especially of a mechanical seal assembly, for supplying a fluid, especially to a mechanical seal (2a, 2b), comprising exactly one drive (11) comprising a drive shaft (24), a first axial pump (21), which conveys the fluid in the axial direction (X-X) of the drive shaft, a second axial pump (22), which conveys the fluid in the axial direction of the drive shaft, and a radial pump (23), which conveys the fluid in the radial direction (R) of the drive shaft, wherein the first axial pump (21) and the second axial pump (22) are arranged in front of the radial pump (23) in the flow-through direction (B) of the fluid across the pump assembly, and wherein the drive (11) simultaneously drives the first axial pump (21), the second axial pump (22) and the radial pump (23).
