Low load dual flap seal assembly
A seal for sealing between a first member and a second member, including a first annular insert and a second annular insert axially spaced from the first annular insert. An elastomeric body includes a first portion over-molded on the first annular insert and a second portion over-molded on the second annular insert and an intermediate web extending between the first and second portions. The first and second portions including an annular flap extending from the first and second annular inserts that in an un-installed condition, extend radially relative to the first and second annular inserts and in an installed position are adapted to be compressed between the annular inserts and a surface of the first and second members.

Seal ring and sealing device
To fulfill a sealing function for a fluid within a short period of time when a pump configured to pressure-feed the fluid is activated, provided are a seal ring, including: a first side surface (20); a second side surface (30) being a side surface on a side opposite to the first side surface (20); and a first side-surface side projecting portion (40) formed on the first side surface (20), in which a distal end portion (42) of the first side-surface side projecting portion (40) projects most toward an outward side from the first side surface (20) as compared to an entire surface of the first side surface (20) except for the distal end portion (42), and a sealing device using the same.

Temperature activated elastomeric sealing device
An elastomeric sealing device operable at an operating temperature above an installation temperature. The sealing device includes a body fabricated from an elastomeric material. A channel is formed within the body. A mesh is disposed within the channel. The mesh includes a plurality of interwoven fibers forming an inner volume. A filler is disposed within the inner volume. At least a portion of the filler is a liquid at the installation temperature. The at least a portion of the filler is a gas at the operating temperature.
PUMP FOR LIQUID PRODUCT COMPRISING A SEALING DEVICE AND SPRAYING INSTALLATION COMPRISING SUCH A PUMP
A pump for a liquid product including a body inwardly delimiting a compression chamber, in which a piston is mounted sliding, as well as an external motor coupled to the piston for movement thereof by a piston rod passing through a wall secured to the pump body, through a passage opening equipped with a sealing device including a stack of seals kept gripped axially against the pump body, the sealing device including an axial compression member inserted between a crown, included in the sealing device, and the wall secured to the pump body.
TURBINE ASSEMBLY WITH RING SEGMENTS
The invention relates to a turbine assembly (1) comprising an annular structure extending circumferentially about an axial direction (DA) and comprising ring segments (10) arranged circumferentially end to end and comprising adjacent connection faces (13a), linked by linked by sealing tabs (21, 22) in the wall (11) and in the flange (12). The invention is characterised in that the grooves (31, 32) and tabs (21, 22) are curved, the tabs (21, 22) having a bending degree of freedom starting from their mounting position in the presence of an air pressure exerted from upstream to downstream between the adjacent connection faces (13a, 13b) of the at least two adjacent ring sectors (10) during operation of the turbine, the tab (22) having a second point (220) which is in contact with a point (213) of the tab (21).
VALVE ASSEMBLY DESIGN USING HYPER-ELASTOMERIC COMPRESSION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for utilizing hyper-elastomeric material to create a seal between two surfaces in a valve in order to inhibit the seepage of fluidic material and particles from entering a valve cavity that can damage the assembly. The hyper-elastomeric compression of the hyper-elastomeric material is performed by utilizing hyper-elastomeric compression or a combination of hyper-elastomeric compression and traditional compression methods.
Rolling annular seal
Sealing assemblies with rolling annular seals are provided. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a stuffing box having a rolling seal positioned in a body for sealing against a tubing or wireline cable received in a bore of the body. The rolling seal can rotate within the body to roll along the tubing or wireline cable in response to movement of the tubing or wireline cable through the body and friction between the rolling seal and the tubing or wireline cable. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.
