PROPELLER SHAFT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
A propeller shaft includes: a cylindrical boot member including a protruding portion, and a boot band tightening portion; a shaft member which is inserted into the boot member, and which includes a first diameter portion having an outside diameter greater than an inside diameter of the protruding portion, a groove portion which has an outside diameter smaller than the outside diameter of the first outside diameter portion, and in which the protruding portion is received, and a second outside diameter portion having an outside diameter greater than the outside diameter of the first outside diameter portion; and a boot band tightened on the boot band tightening portion.
Deformable gasket for the sealed passage of a fluid through a wall
A gasket for use with a connector assembly apt to allow the sealed passage of a fluid through a wall (P) and suitable for installation realized from just one side of the wall, which gasket has a deformable region is provided. The gasket is configured to assume an installation configuration, in which the gasket can be introduced into a connector seat (D) formed in the wall (P), crossing it from side to side, and a sealing configuration, wherein the gasket is installed in the wall (P) and deformed, at the deformable region, to abut on an inside mouthpiece of the connector seat.
Annular seal member locatable against a wall element of an offshore structure
An annular seal member comprising a seal body comprising a locating portion locatable against a wall element of an offshore structure, an inner surface, an outer surface and a lip portion that defines an open mouth of the seal member for receiving an elongate element therethrough; wherein the seal body is locatable against the wall element such that when a static pressure acting on the outer surface of the seal body exceeds a static pressure acting on the inner surface of the seal body a net positive pressure is exerted on the outer surface which at least partly deforms inwardly to provide a portion of the seal body for sealing against an outer surface of the elongate element. An offshore structure.

Dust cover and sealing structure
A dust cover and a sealing structure for improving sealing performance by stabilizing a posture of a seal section. A seal section 130 includes: an inner peripheral seal part 131 which is slidable with respect to an outer peripheral surface of a shaft part 310; a dust lip part 132 which is slidable with respect to an end surface of a first flange part 340; and an auxiliary dust lip part 133 provided on an radially inner side of the dust lip part 132, and the auxiliary dust lip part 133 is configured to be slidable with respect to a curved surface 310a which connects the shaft part 310 and the first flange part 340 to each other.

Sealing apparatus capable of rotational motion
Provided is a sealing apparatus capable of linear and rotational motion including a housing; a hollow first shaft penetrating and coupled to the housing; a first sealing member provided between the housing and the first shaft to seal therebetween; a second shaft of which at least a part is inserted into the first shaft; a second sealing member provided between the first shaft and the second shaft to seal therebetween; and a third sealing member provided on either an inner circumferential surface of the first shaft or an outer circumferential surface of the second shaft.
Mechanical seal with sliding surfaces with minimum diameter
A mechanical seal having a first seal ring, which is mounted in a receptacle of a fixed part, and a second seal ring, which is mounted in a sleeve of a rotary part having a fixing portion fixed to a rotary shaft. The second seal ring extends radially inwards relative to the fixing portion of the sleeve, above an upper ending surface of the rotary shaft. The first seal ring is disposed above the second seal ring in such a way that the sliding surfaces of the first seal ring and of the second seal ring are in mutual contact. The sliding surfaces of the first seal ring and of the second seal ring have a mean diameter that is lower than an external diameter of the rotary shaft.
EXTRACTION INTERFACE FOR CONNECTING A FIRST FLOW CHANNEL TO A SECOND FLOW CHANNEL IN AN AIRTIGHT MANNER, BASE STATION WITH AN EXTRACTION INTERFACE AND SYSTEM CONSISTING OF A VACUUM CLEANING APPLIANCE AND A BASE STATION
An extraction interface for connecting a first flow channel to a second flow channel in an airtight manner has a main body with an extraction opening. The extraction opening has an opening plane and a sealing element that surrounds the extraction opening in the circumferential direction. In order to improve a sealing effect of the sealing element, the sealing element is an elastic bellows, which when viewed in a cross section oriented orthogonal to the opening plane has in a relaxed state of the sealing element an E-shape with at least one bending point, two legs that meet in the bending point and two leg end regions adjoining the legs. The leg end regions point radially outward in a direction facing away from the extraction opening and are connected to two locally separated connecting points of the main body.
INTEGRAL BELLOWS FOR OILFIELD EQUIPMENT
A bellows assembly for a downhole tool includes a first seal ring, a second seal ring, and a bellows positioned at least partially between the first and second seal rings. The first seal ring, the second seal ring, and the bellows are integral with one another such that the bellows assembly is monolithic. The bellows is configured to expand and retract. The bellows is annular and has a diameter that varies over a length of the bellows. A material composition of the bellows varies over the length of the bellows.
