Double action direction fluid flow valve
A double action directional fluid flow valve includes a stepped piston connected with a poppet valve and moveable by a controller between open and closed positions by applying a continuous pressure to a small diameter piston face and selectively applying and removing pressure from a large diameter piston face to move the poppet valve between an open position and a closed position.
Rapid opening gas valve
A pneumatically operated gas valve mounted on a vessel containing pressurized gas. The gas valve includes a piston positioned in a cylinder with one closed end so that the piston seats against a gas outlet to close the gas valve. A control reservoir is formed in the cylinder between the piston and the closed end of the cylinder. Upon filling vessel, some of the pressurized gas enters the control reservoir to provide a control pressure behind the piston. Actuating the control mechanism vents the control reservoir, resulting in the gas valve opening rapidly to release the pressurized gas in the vessel through an exhaust port of the gas valve.

A fluidic device may include inlet ports, control input ports, one or more output channels, inlet channels that are each configured to convey fluid from one of the inlet ports to one of the one or more output channels, and pistons. In some examples, each piston may include (1) a restricting gate transmission element configured to inhibit, when the piston is in a first position, and uninhibit, when the piston is in a second position, one of the inlet channels, (2) a control gate configured to interface with a first control pressure that, when applied to the control gate, forces the piston towards the first position, and (3) an additional control gate configured to interface with a second control pressure that, when applied to the additional control gate, forces the piston towards the second position. Various other related devices, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
BIDET BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE
The disclosure provides a bidet washing apparatus equipped with a backflow preventer and methods for using the apparatus for preventing backflow of potentially contaminate water into the bidet washing apparatus. The methods utilizing the apparatus include applying water pressure on a backflow preventer in-line with a reservoir dispenser outlet; and releasing the water pressure on the backflow preventer, thereby allowing air to enter the reservoir dispenser outlet, wherein any contaminated water cannot be pulled back into the apparatus by reduced pressure.
DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING FLUID FLOW
A device for controlling the flow of a fluid through a conduit from an upstream side of the device to a downstream side of the device is provided. The device includes an upstream valve casing defining an inlet, a downstream valve casing defining an outlet aperture, and a valve core secured between the upstream valve casing and the downstream valve casing. The upstream valve casing, the downstream valve casing and the valve core are formed as discrete parts. The valve core includes a housing defining a control volume. The valve member is mounted on the housing and positioned on the upstream side of the outlet aperture, the valve member being arranged to move reciprocally to selectively open and close the outlet aperture, thereby controlling flow of the fluid through the outlet aperture.
Pressure reducing and relief valve
A pressure regulating and pressure relief valve, has a valve body defining an inlet port, outlet port, valve seat and pressure relief opening. A pressure regulating plug is displaced during a first portion of a motion from an open position, which provides a continuous flow path from the inlet port to the outlet port, to a closed position in which the plug is closed against the valve seat to obstruct the continuous flow path. A spring biases the plug to the open position. An actuation surface is exposed to a pressure at the outlet port that displaces the plug against the spring bias toward the closed position. Further displacement of the plug beyond the closed position during a second portion of the motion that is beyond a range of the first portion of the motion, opens a relief flow path from the outlet port through the pressure release opening.
Complementary fluidic valves, logic gates, and latches
A fluidic device may include inlet ports, input ports, one or more output ports, fluid channels each configured to route fluid from one of the inlet ports to one of the one or more output ports, and pistons. In some examples, each piston may include (1) a restricting gate transmission element configured to block, when the piston is in a first position, and unblock, when the piston is in a second position, one of the fluid channels, (2) a controlling gate transmission element configured to interface with a first control pressure that, when applied to the controlling gate transmission element, forces the piston towards the first position, and (3) an additional controlling gate transmission element configured to interface with a second control pressure that, when applied to the additional controlling gate transmission element, forces the piston towards the second position. Various other related devices and systems are also disclosed.
