Such a valve of the NC construction type comprises a valve housing with corresponding connectors and a fluid passage. A slide coupled with a magnetic armature is provided for regulating a free cross-sectional area of the fluid passage. A first spring urges the slide in an opening direction and a second spring urges the slide in an opposite closing direction, wherein the first and the second spring are adapted such that, in the electrically unenergized state of the coil, the slide adopts a position in which the fluid passage is closed.
Self-sealing pressure vessel systems and methods
A compressed gas storage system that includes a pressure vessel. The pressure vessel includes a first vessel portion and a second vessel portion in fluid communication with the first vessel portion. The pressure vessel includes a third vessel portion in fluid communication with the second vessel portion. The compressed gas storage system includes a first valve positioned between the first vessel portion and the second vessel portion and a second valve positioned between the second vessel portion and the third vessel portion. The first valve allows and impedes fluid flow between the first and the second vessel portions. The second valve allows and impedes fluid flow between the second and the third vessel portions.
Polyethylene pipe service system including quick connect means for polyethylene pipe tapping, plugging, and completion operations
Embodiments of a polyethylene (“PE”) pipe servicing system of this disclosure may include a fusible PE fitting (F) providing a branch connection to a PE pipeline section or run (P), a valve (10) connected to the fitting and including quick connect/disconnect means, and a machine connectable to the valve including complementary quick connect/disconnect means. The quick connect means provide for full scope of operation, including cleaning, fusion, cool down, hot tap, plugging, and completion. No squeezing is used. The quick connect/disconnect means may include a first portion 20 of a cam profile and a second portion 40 of the cam profile complementary to that of the first. The machine may be a drilling or hot tapping machine (30T), a plugging machine (30P), or a completion machine (30C), and their associated tools. The valve and machine are more lightweight and faster and easier to use than the prior art.
VALVE FOR COMPRESSED GAS WITH ACTUATING DEVICE OPERABLE BY A ROBOTIC INTERFACE
A valve for compressed gas, comprising: a body with an inlet, an outlet and a passage interconnecting the inlet and with outlet; a shut-off device with a shutter mobile in translation along a longitudinal axis of the valve for cooperating with a seat in the passage, the shutter being urged by one or more elastic elements against the seat so as to normally close the passage; an actuating device configured to convert a pressure into a lifting movement of the shutter off the seat so as to open the passage; wherein the actuating device comprises an external circular flange or groove extending around the longitudinal axis and configured for being engaged by a robotic interface providing the pressure to the actuating device.
Discharge valve system and method
Some embodiments include a fluid valve assembly with an outlet base dimensioned to be positioned through a drain in a fluid tank, and a float assembly including a moveable float. The moveable float can form a fluid-tight seal at a first end when the moveable float is coupled to the outlet base, and a flow opening when the moveable float is at least partially decoupled from the outlet base. Some embodiments include a housing positioned with the moveable float, where the housing encloses a suction device coupled to a moveable piston. Some embodiments include an actuable diaphragm positioned in the outlet base, and a compressed air tube or passageway coupled to one side the actuable diaphragm. In some embodiments, the actuable diaphragm is configured and arranged to be actuated by compressed air to move the moveable piston.
Valve
Provided is a valve 130 which requires only a small space for the open/close operation of an opening 113 in a partition wall. A sealing part 140 includes a sealing member 141 for sealing the opening by being pressed onto the partition wall around the opening. An urging means 144 urges the sealing member 141 against the opening when the sealing member 141 is in contact with the opening. A driving means 160 generates a driving force orthogonal to an opening central axis A which is an axis perpendicular to a partition plate 111 and passing through the center of the opening. A linkage 150, which is a Scott Russell linkage connecting the sealing part 140 and the driving means 160, converts the driving force of the driving means 160 into a driving force which is parallel to the opening central axis A and makes the sealing part 140 move along the same axis.
Refrigerant charging assemblies and methods of use
Refrigerant charging systems and methods of use are described herein. A refrigerant charging system may include a conduit, a valve releasably connectable to the outlet portion and coupled to a first end of the conduit; and a disconnect coupler fitting connected to a second end of the conduit. The disconnect coupler fitting may include a control structure positioned in a hollow body that, during use, allows refrigerant flow to the refrigerant circuit. The control structure may include one or more openings that allow controlled leakage of fluid from the refrigerant charging assembly when the refrigerant charging assembly is disconnected from at least the refrigerant service unit.
Manually controlled high pressure valve and a glass chiller using thereof
A manually controlled high pressure valve includes a valve body having an air inlet, an air outlet and a mounting hole; an adjusting device arranged in the mounting hole by hermetically connecting to the inside wall of the mounting hole and having an air inlet hole and an air outlet hole; a limiting block arranged below the adjusting device and matched with the adjusting device and the air inlet for controlling the air intake from the air inlet hole of the adjusting device. The limiting block can be jacked up by the high pressure of the air inlet and block off the air inlet to stop jetting outwardly when the gas is not exhausted from the air outlet of the valve; and the limiting block can be removed to form a gap between the limiting block and the inlet hole when it is required to jet outwardly.

The machine may be a drilling or hot tapping machine (30T), a plugging machine (30P), or a completion machine (30 C), and their associated tools.
