PLUMBING COMPONENT
A plumbing component includes a cold water inlet; a hot water inlet; an outlet configured to output cold water, hot water, or a mixture thereof; a flow shut-off mechanism for restricting the flow of water out of the outlet; a first flow control valve for controlling the flow of cold water; and a second flow control valve for controlling the flow of hot water. Each of the flow control valves comprises a valve member and an associated valve seat, each valve member arranged to engage with the associated valve seat to control the flow of water through the flow control valves to the water outlet. One or both of the valve members includes a graduated flow control bead arranged to seal against the associated valve seat to provide a graduated flow transition between a maximum flow state and a minimum flow state of the, or each, control valve.

Pressure-limiting valve
A pressure-limiting valve for use in a gas line conveying a gas that includes aerosols. The pressure-limiting valve has a movable valve body, a valve seat, and a compressible coalescing medium placed therebetween. The valve body has passages and nozzle openings and the valve seat has through-holes. In the closed position, the valve functions in separator mode and in the fully open position, in impactor mode. The pressure-limiting valve according to the invention provides a more sensitive response to varying flow conditions, due to deviating surface profiles of the valve seat and coalescing medium, which provide intermediate stages of separator and impactor modes as a function of the volume of flow.
Noise reducing diffuser trim
A fluid valve includes a valve body having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet connected by a fluid passageway. A valve seat is disposed within the fluid passageway. A fluid control member is movably disposed within the fluid passageway, the fluid control member cooperating with a trim assembly to control fluid flow through the fluid passageway. The trim assembly includes a cage having a plurality of openings that characterize fluid flowing through the cage and a plurality of vents that suppress noise generated by the plurality of openings.

Valve having a poppet with a soft seal and features enhancing life of the soft seal
An example valve includes a valve body having a first port and a second port; a poppet movable within the valve body and comprising (i) a conical surface, (ii) an exterior cylindrical surface, and (iii) an annular groove; and a seal disposed in the annular groove of the poppet, wherein the poppet is movable to a partially-unseated position in which the poppet moves to form a flow area allowing fluid flow from the first port to the second port, wherein the exterior cylindrical surface of the poppet forms a flow restriction with the interior surface of the valve body downstream from the flow area, wherein the conical surface is configured to direct fluid toward the interior surface of the valve body, away from the seal, and wherein the flow restriction generates back-pressure around the seal to reduce velocity of fluid around the seal.
CONTROL OR SHUTOFF VALVE
A control or shutoff valve with a housing includes a valve seat arranged within housing between feed and a discharge, and a shutoff element arranged to be moveable relative to the valve seat in the housing. At least one feed channel leading to the valve seat is arranged in the housing to supply a pressure medium to reduce cavitation phenomena.

Pressure control valve
The invention relates to a pressure control valve having a control element that includes a valve component and a drive component. The valve component includes an orifice that, in a first position, may be closed by the control element, disconnecting a control chamber from a return chamber, such that a control pressure acts on a first control surface of the control element and in a second position, the orifice may be partially opened, so that the control and return chambers are fluidically connected to each other, such that the control pressure in the control chamber acts on a second control surface of the control element.
