Plug with attachable upper trunnion
A plug for use in a plug valve includes an attachable upper trunnion that is assembled to the main plug body using fasteners and a male-female dovetail fit. The tensile and compressive loading experienced by the main plug body during its linear motion, and the torsional loading experienced during its 90 rotation, is supported by the fasteners and the dovetail fit.
Valve structure with elastic anti-leakage member
A valve structure with an elastic anti-leakage member includes a spool, a seat, and a switch. The spool body has at least one inner notch formed on a side of the spool body, and the inner notch has at least one elastic anti-leakage member installed in the inner notch, and the seat has an inner chamber with an internal cavity wall. The spool is contained in an inner of the seat, and the elastic anti-leakage member installed in the inner chamber of the inner notch of the spool body has a surface elastically abutting against the internal cavity wall of the inner chamber of the seat to achieve a good water anti-leakage effect.
Valve for high temperature liquid
A valve for a high temperature liquid, more in particular for liquid ZnMg, wherein the valve parts are made of ceramic material and graphite to be heat-resistant against the temperature of these liquid metals.
SEAL AND FLUID VALVE HAVING SUCH A SEAL
A seal for use in a fluid valve, or multi-path fluid valve, has a cylindrical, resilient base member, a plurality of first sealing portions arranged at an outer side of the base member for sealing abutment against a valve housing of the fluid valve, and a plurality of second sealing portions, arranged at an inner side of the base member, for sealing abutment against an adjustable valve body of the fluid valve. A respective first sealing portion and respective second sealing portion are arranged circumferentially around a respective sealing opening of the base member. There is arranged at the inner side of the base member a first layer having a sliding friction coefficient which is less with respect to the valve body and/or static friction coefficient which is less than the base member, and which is at least partially in contact with the valve body during use of the seal.
FLUID CATALYTIC CRACKING UNIT VALVE
Rotary valves are adapted to replace traditional slide valves in fluid catalytic cracking units (FCCUs) such as regenerated catalyst valves, spent catalyst valves, cooled catalyst valves, and recirculation catalyst valves. The rotary valves as discussed herein are significantly more compact than a slide valve having a similar flow capacity. The rotary valve is better adapted to provide flow control or throttling than slide valves are. Flow control or throttling occurs with greater response and precision in response to control inputs and rotation. In addition to the size reduction achieved with the rotary valve, the required controls and/or hydraulic fluid necessary to achieve flow changes are significantly reduced, further saving costs for the valve, as hydraulic power units are not required. The omission of a hydraulic power unit also reduces the size of the valve and/or its accompanying structures within the FCCU.
Manufacturing a valve plug to reduce erosion
A closure member is configured for use in a valve. These configurations may include a plug with grooves or flutes that extend along its length. Inserts in the flutes may comprise materials, like ceramics, that are different than the material that forms the core or base portion of the plug. These inserts are useful to slow erosion of the device, particularly in the flutes, which form an outwardly-facing surface that is subject to high velocity flow in the valve. This feature can extend service life of the plug, particularly in highly-erosive process fluids, like particle-entrained fluids commonly found in hydrocracking or refining operations.
Disposable dental valve device
A disposable dental valve device is disclosed having a valve body having an interior, a tip receiving end having a tapered interior for receiving a tip, a hose receiving end, a lumen formed between the tip receiving end and the hose receiving end, and a partial opening formed in the valve body and a rotatable valve sealing body adapted to being inserted into the partial opening, the rotatable valve sealing body having a bore for alignment with the lumen formed between the tip receiving end and the hose receiving end, the rotatable valve sealing body having a top and a handle portion connected to the top.
VALVE FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE LIQUID
A valve for a high temperature liquid, more in particular for liquid ZnMg, wherein the valve parts are made of ceramic material and graphite to be heat-resistant against the temperature of these liquid metals.
