Create and remaster computer simulation skyboxes
A character in a game world of a computer simulation is identified as moving toward a sky box in the simulation. The computer simulation does not permit simulation characters to enter the sky box. Techniques are described for remastering the skybox based on various parameters.
Location adjustment method and apparatus for control in application, device, and storage medium
A location adjustment method and apparatus provide for improved control. In a virtual environment picture, a temporary entry control and a function prompt information about location customization are displayed. A location adjustment operation is triggered on the temporary entry control, and a drag operation on the temporary entry control is provided in an editing state, with the temporary entry control dragged from a first location to a second location. The temporary entry control is displayed at the second location. When the temporary entry control is displayed for the first time, a location of the temporary entry control is adjusted by directly dragging the temporary entry control, which simplifies location adjustment and improves efficiency.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
An information processing apparatus includes: a storage block configured to store at least one of a correlation between a pattern of a vibration detected on a head-mounted display as a result of a predetermined contact action and a type of data processing and a correlation between a pattern of an image outputted from an image-taking apparatus, the outputting being caused by a predetermined gesture action, and a type of data processing; an acquisition block configured to acquire at least one of information related with the detected vibration and the outputted image; and a data processing block configured to, according to each of the correlations stored in the storage block, execute at least one of data processing of the type corresponding to the detected vibration and data processing of the type corresponding to the outputted image.
INTERACTION MODIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for modifying interactions between a user and displayed content, the system comprising an input detection unit operable to detect one or more inputs from a peripheral device operated by a user, an input characterisation unit operable to characterise the detected one or more inputs, and a content modification unit operable to modify one or more aspects of the user’s interaction in dependence upon the characterisation of the detected inputs.
Ambient light control and calibration via a console
Ambient light control and calibration systems and methods are provided herein. According to some embodiments, exemplary systems may include a console that includes a processor that executes logic to control a plurality of nodes to reproduce a virtual lighting scheme of a virtual environment in a physical user environment. Additionally, the system may include a plurality of nodes that each includes a light emitting device, a receiver that communicatively couples the node to the console, and a processor that executes logic to control the light emitting device.
MOBILE DEVICE CONTROLLER SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INTERACTING WITH CLIENT APPLICATIONS
In an aspect, a first controller module of a mobile device controller can be engaged with a first side of a mobile device of a user. A second controller module of the mobile device controller can be engaged with a second side of the mobile device. One or more mobile device controller characteristics associated with characteristics of the mobile device controller can be transmitted from the mobile device controller to the mobile device. A client application on the mobile device can be modified by a first data processor based on the one or more mobile device controller characteristics. The modified client application can be provided by the first data processor to the user in the mobile device, and the user can interact with the modified client application using the mobile device controller. Related systems, apparatus, techniques, and articles are also described.
Methodology for equalizing systemic latencies in television reception in connection with games of skill played in connection with live television programming
A method of and system for handling latency issues encountered in producing real-time entertainment such as games of skill synchronized with live or taped televised events is described herein. There are multiple situations that are dealt with regarding latencies in receiving a television signal with respect to real-time entertainment based on the unfolding games played along with the telecasts. Systemic delays, arbitrarily imposed delays of a broadcast signal and variances in the precise broadcast times of taped television programs have to be equalized so as to provide fair entertainment.
