Described herein are systems and devices for controlling and monitoring liquid applications of agricultural fields. In one embodiment, a flow device for controlling flow during an agricultural operation includes an offset ball valve having multiple openings that rotate in position to control flow of a liquid through the offset ball valve to an outlet passage. The flow device also includes a first passage that provides a first flow path from an inlet to at least one opening of the offset ball valve and second passage that provides a second flow path from the inlet to at least one opening of the offset ball valve.

High Pressure Auto Drain Ball Valve

Disclosed is ball valve with automatic safety exhaust function, which is suitable for working environments in high pressure applications, such as up to 600 psi of water, oil, and gas. The ball valve includes a valve body, cap, ball with a vent hole, stem, a built-in vent needle valve, and seals. When the valve is in the closed position, the built-in needle valve is in the open state. The downstream gas enters the bottom of the valve cavity from the exhaust hole on the ball and exits the valve body through the needle valve hole. When the ball valve is in the open position, the built-in needle valve is in the closed state. The built-in needle valve design ensures that under high-pressure use (open state), the gas will not leak out of the valve body.

Valve device

A housing has a housing main body and an outlet port. The housing main body includes a cylindrical housing inner wall that defines an internal space therein. The outlet port fluidly connects the internal space and an outside of the housing main body to each other. The valve has a valve body rotatable about an rotation axis along a rotation axis of the cylindrical housing inner wall. The valve is configured to selectively open and close the outlet port depending on a rotation position of the valve. The housing inner wall is formed such that a distance between the housing inner wall and the axis of the housing inner wall varies in a circumferential direction.

Ball valve with integral seal retraction

Disclosed embodiments include ball valves with an asymmetric seal and seat, to minimize seal wear. In embodiments, a seal is disposed upon a ball with a first and second section, where the first section of the seal is disposed at a different angle from the second section. A seat has a first and second section at different angles that correspond to angles of the first and second section of the seal, respectively, such that the seal fully contacts the seat when the ball is in a closed position. When the ball is rotated to an open position, the different angles of the first and second sections allow the second section of the seal to clear the first section of the seat without contact.

The water hammer arrestor can be isolated from the incoming and outgoing water supply by a valve or a tee-shaped valve body. Furthermore, the ball valve assembly includes a bearing element configured to drive the rotatable ring and the non-rotatable ring away from one another to compress the annular seat against the ball in response to rotation of the rotatable ring.

Multifunction valve

A multifunction valve includes a valve body defining an inlet, and outlet and an interior chamber. The protrusions may comprise a cut-out portion, wherein the size and/or shape of the cut-out may be configured to modify the fluid flow rate through the multifunction valve. A method of modulating a fluid flow rate includes directing fluid flow through a multifunction valve from an inlet to an outlet, the multifunction valve including a flow control gate, adjusting the flow rate through the multifunction valve by rotating a control shaft to position the flow control gate to variably occlude the outlet of the multifunction valve.
