Circuit for biological liquid comprising a pinch valve
The invention concerns a circuit comprising a bag (11) comprising two flexible films (45, 46) and a press (10) comprising a first (14) and a second (13) shell clamping the bag to form pipes having a passage and edges (41); the first shell comprising a valve (20) which comprises a movable member (24) and a pad (31), which pad has a resting configuration in which a second face (33) of the pad is concave and locally delimits a channel (18) and a pinching configuration in which the second face (33) is convex; said movable member and said pad being configured so that, when said valve is in closed position and said pad in pinching configuration, said passage is pinched by said movable member against said second shell channel and said edges (41) are pinched flat by said movable member against said second shell (13).
Flow meter and related system and apparatus
A flow meter includes an image sensor and a processor. The image sensor is configured to capture an image of a drip chamber. The processor is configured to determine whether the captured image of the drip chamber contains a match to a template, and to apply a blurring function to the image captured by the image sensor of the drip chamber such that the processor can determine if the captured image contains a match to the template.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A FLUIDIC ELEMENT AND FLUIDIC ELEMENT MANUFACTURED USING SAID PROCESS
A process for manufacturing a fluidic element, which consists in forming at least one fluid-permeable zone and one fluid-impermeable zone in a three-dimensional cellular material, by addition of at least one second material having a liquid initial state. The process will for example include soaking of the cellular material by the second material present in the liquid initial state, evacuating the second material present in its liquid initial state from at least one zone of the cellular material, in order to render the permeable zone.

FLUORORUBBER TUBE
A fluororubber tube is provided, which is formed from a rubber composition containing a fluororubber, and not less than 3.8 parts by mass and not greater than 4.1 parts by mass of a polyol crosslinking agent and not less than 3 parts by mass and not greater than 7 parts by mass of a carbon black based on 100 parts by mass of the fluororubber. Thus, the fluororubber tube is made less tacky by suppressing the intrinsic adhesiveness of the crosslinked fluororubber without formation of a coating film which may otherwise complicate the structure of the tube and the production process of the tube or may result in contamination.
System and Method for Creating Sterile Connections Using Ultraviolet Light
A device for connecting first and second medical fluid flow systems includes a linear movement carriage system that is positioned within a housing. The carriage system includes first and second connector holders configured to hold first and second connectors of the first and second medical fluid flow systems, respectively. A coupler holder is configured to hold a coupler and is positioned substantially between the first and second connector holders. The first and second connector holders and the coupler holder are relatively moveable between a separated configuration, where the first and second connectors and the coupler are located in relatively spaced apart positions, and a joined configuration, where the first and second connectors engage the coupler. An ultraviolet light source is positioned in the housing so as to irradiate first and second connectors and the coupler. A drive system transitions the first and second connector holders and the coupler holder between the separated and the joined configurations.
ENCAPSULATED VALVE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
An encapsulated valve system includes a first housing portion having a first facing surface, the first facing surface comprising a plurality of branch pathways formed as a recess within the first facing surface. The valve system further includes a second housing portion having a second facing surface, the second facing surface comprising a plurality of branch pathways formed as a recess within the second facing surface. A disposable conduit is configured to be interposed between the first and second housing portions and disposed within the recess of the first facing surface and the recess of the second facing surface. The disposable conduit is thus sandwiched between the first and second facing surfaces. A plurality of pinch valve actuators are mounted on one or both of the first housing portion and the second housing portion, the plurality of pinch valve actuators configured to pinch the disposable conduit at selective branch pathways.

Pinch Clamp Devices, Methods, and Systems
A method of controlling flow through a flexible tube includes providing a pinch clamp mechanism including a pinching element and a pinching surface configured to apply a force on the flexible tube when the flexible tube is positioned between the pinching element and the pinching surface. The method also includes displacing the pinching element relative to the pinching surface with a mechanical drive unit and biasing the pinching element toward the pinching surface with a spring.
Endoscope gripping device
A gripping device for an endoscope insertion tube utilizing first and second arms that are hingedly attached to one another. Each arm includes an opening to accommodate the insertion tube of an endoscope such that the endoscope insertion tube spans both arms. First and second jaws are associated with first and second arms and are positioned in opposition to one another. The movement of the arms toward one another causes the jaws to engage the insertion tube which is guided through the arms by the apertures found in the arms.
