A dynamic control valve assembly for use in filling a liquid carbon dioxide storage and gas delivery system is provided, the assembly comprising: a valve body; an end nut with an inlet port for receiving liquid carbon dioxide; a chamber; an inlet cavity; a liquid port; a gas port; and a dynamic compound valve stem assembly for blocking the gas port while liquid carbon dioxide is delivered through the inlet port and allowing the liquid carbon dioxide to flow through the liquid port for storage in a liquid cylinder, and open the gas port and block the inlet port in order to allow carbon dioxide gasses from boiling liquid carbon dioxide within the liquid cylinder to pass through the gas port for storage in a gas cylinder until system pressure and temperature equilibrium is reached. The dynamic compound valve stem assembly comprises: a stem body having an inlet port poppet and a gas port poppet; an inlet cavity collar; and in some embodiments a collar biasing spring. The compound valve assembly is adapted to block the inlet port upon completion of the delivery of liquid carbon to the system when the system has an initial low pressure. The carbon dioxide gas may then be drawn from the gas cylinder for use in use in carbonated beverages and other applications such as agricultural and medical uses.

HYDRAULIC ARRANGEMENT FOR A VEHICLE TRANSMISSION
20230066490 · 2023-03-02 ·

A hydraulic arrangement for a vehicle transmission includes a hydraulic pump for providing a system pressure for a first hydraulic system circuit and a lubrication pressure for a second hydraulic lubrication circuit. The arrangement also includes a control valve connected between a pump outlet of the pump and the two hydraulic circuits and has two different switching positions. The control valve, depending on the switching position, acts as a hydraulic connection between the pump and the system circuit or between the pump and the lubrication circuit.

Combination check and relief valve assembly for a blower manifold
11662751 · 2023-05-30 · ·

A combination check and relief valve assembly especially designed as a manifold attachment to the exhaust port of a blower and which adapts to the blower's exhaust to maintain pressure within the manifold to a certain range. The combination valve features a manifold having an inner channel which connects to the discharge port of the blower via an inlet port, a check valve assembly having a spring-loaded ball disposed for periodic operative engagement with the inlet port for the prevention of backflow of the fluid discharge and a relief valve assembly mounted in a side channel of the manifold for releasing and venting the fluid discharge through a relief vent port upon an excessive pressure buildup. The relief valve includes a spring-loaded plunger which opens and closes the relief vent port. The combined effect of the two valves helps to maintain the pressure in the manifold to a set adjustable desired range.

FLUID END

A fluid end comprising a plurality of fluid end sections positioned in a side-by-side relationship. Each fluid end section is releasably attached to a connect plate. Each connect plate is attached to a power source using a plurality of stay rods. Each fluid end section comprises a housing in fluid communication with a pair of intake manifolds and a discharge conduit. A fluid routing plug is installed within each housing and is configured to route fluid throughout the housing. A plunger is installed within stuffing box attached to each housing. A number of features, including the location of seals within bore walls and carbide inserts within valve guides, aid in reducing or transferring wear.

Aircraft engine lubrication circuit and method, using a non-return pressurisation valve with two plugs

A non-return valve with twin plugs is connected to a fluid reservoir and equipment that can receive a small overflow quantity essentially in the gaseous state from the reservoir. This occurs when the primary valve is open. In the case of a larger overflow essentially in the liquid state, the openings are switched over to evacuate the overflow to another outlet branch of the non-return valve, without it being transferred to the equipment. The invention is useful in an oil lubrication circuit, in which a hypothetical fuel leak into the oil could cause the oil reservoir to overflow into the non-return valve and in which a significant flow of liquid to the equipment must be avoided; oil outlet through the other branch of the outlet can remain in a reservoir provided with a drain system.
