Liner (30, 130, 230, 430, 530, 630, 730, 830) includes a downstream valve seat (74, 174, 274, 474, 574, 674, 774) that, when engaged by valve member (40, 140, 240, 340, 440, 540, 640, 740, 840), restricts flow of hot fluid past valve member (40, 140, 240, 340, 440, 540, 640, 740, 840).

WASHING MACHINE

An inner drum of a washing machine has a plurality of hollow lifting ribs arranged on the side wall of the drum that communicate with the interior of the drum. At least one drainage port communicating with the hollow portions of the lifting ribs is formed in the side wall of the drum. A sealing valve is located inside each lifting rib at each drainage port. During high-speed rotation of the drum, valve bodies of the sealing valves move along a radial center direction of the drum under a centrifugal force, to open the drainage ports. Through this arrangement, discharging water flow in the drum to the outside from the hidden drainage ports is achieved. Meanwhile, centrifugal force during the high-speed rotation of the drum is used to control valve cores of the sealing valves such that the drainage ports are automatically opened for drainage from the drum.

A pipeline assembly includes a hollow body having a first opening and a second opening. A valve port fluidly coupled to the first opening is provided on the body and a valve port seat is disposed in the valve port. A shutter is urged against the valve port seat by a spring fluidly de-coupling the second opening from the first opening and the valve port. A valve plug includes a check valve. When the valve plug is disposed in the valve port, the valve plug decouples the shutter from the valve port seat to fluidly couple the first opening and the second opening with a fluid flow in only a first direction when the check valve is in an open condition.

The second cup-shaped valve element has a perforated base abutting against a perforated plug fixed to one side of the cavity passing towards the master cylinder. The perforated plug forms a through seat that slidably houses an appendage of the second cup-shaped valve element. Passages are formed around the plug which that establish fluid communication between the intermediate chamber and a passage to the master cylinder.

The valve body is to be opened when a part of the conversion mechanism (3) linearly moves to move the movable plate (8) toward the second direction, and is to be closed when the first biasing member (11) biases the movable plate (8) toward the first direction. The conversion mechanism (3) is configured to be displaced relative to the movable plate (8) in a state in which the valve body is closed.
